still undecided on what pose to have my Fury in, i have the radio to the mouth and suitcase in the hand atm but not really loving it. Anyone got any good display ideas for Fury? He will be with Couslon eventually but that's a long way off atm

Rocket launcher with opened briefcase/lite up tesseract! :rock

Figure looks great, mine arrives Tuesday ! The scale looks right too and the fit of leather long coat looks great. I'm proud to say I was at a party with Samuel Jackson 8 years ago at what was NY's Tavern on the Green and he's a really tall guy ! He'd look Bad ass on the Avengers Set in that gear !

I passed on this figure but latest pics look great- head sculpt disappointing but everything else looks top notch....

My converted WT should charge on Monday. The head looks only okay in the pics, but everything else looks great.

Ugly neck joint absolutely kills this figure. Pure laziness from HT. When you have a figure with not one, but TWO collars it should 100% have a sculpted neck. The reason we pay premium prices for these figures is for realism...otherwise, it's just an overpriced toy. I really wanted this to compliment my other Avengers figures but the end result is:

You guys and your joints, it's a doll/action figure. You want to skip the joints then collect statues. :dunno And yes it is an overpriced toy.

Wrong answer. Action figures are kids toys you buy from Wal Mart or Target...these are high end collectibles designed for adult collectors, paying premium adult prices. And as such they demand a higher degree of realism whenever possible.
Case in point, the Gordon figure from TDKR....same basic type of outfit with a collared shirt. Yet under the same circumstances they fail to use a sculpted neck on Fury, for one of the highest profile lines they will ever do. Where is the consistency?

You guys want to pay top dollar for sub par efforts, be my guest. I won't, and I'll vote with my wallet.

I forgot opinions could be wrong.

Man you people get no enjoyment out of life do you?

In the end, no one is going to give a ____ if his neck is sculpted or not. IF you really have a problem with that you should not be collecting Hot Toys at all.

What HT needs to do is update the neck joint, so that it has a more realistic skin texture. The standard neck has a flat plastic surface. I don't think a fixed neck/ sculpted to the head was necessary for this character, plus with the RPG and Briefcase, he needs that extra joint to be able to look around

The neck joint doesnt bother me at all. Unless you look at the back of the figure it's hardly noticeable, from the sides you can see a line but it doesn't look like a big gaping gap.

Haven't got around to cropping and re-sizing my pics of Fury yet but really enjoyed taking pictures of the figure. The RPG is nice but don't think i'm gonna be posing Fury with it, just gonna have him relaxed with the case in one hand.

Put the jacket on, pop the collar like he actually wears it and ...........bam.......neck looks great. I don't see the big deal anyway. Besides, I think you'll find an easy fix for it somewhere on this board. I know it's been fixed before.

And I agree they're not overpriced dolls, but they aren't carded action figures either.

I get plenty enjoyment out of life, thank you very much. And I have a large collection of HT (and statues BTW). What I would like is for HT to show more consistency between releases and a higher degree of realism like they used to. That's the point...they're more and more lowering their standards while increasing their prices.

If they want to go without a sculpted neck for whatever the reason, they should make it more seamless like the CR Superman, with the cut at the jawline & below the ear. That's fine, and the nature of that figure did not lend itself to a sculpted neck. Here, they 100% could have & should have, they chose not too. Why? I can't answer that. All I know is how I feel....I collect HT because they are 1/6 highly detailed representations of movies & characters with a high degree of realism. When that degree of realism is compromised by choice instead of necessity I choose not to buy it. If others choose it buy it, more power to you & enjoy your figure. However, for the prices we pay I will continue to expect better efforts and to maintain the standards they used to adhere to.

Nick Fury delivery:take 2 aaaaaaaand action!
Mine went out for delivery today,I hope I don't miss him this time!
As for the neck joint it doesn't bother me.
If the figure was an over all mess and failure I would have skipped it,but after seeing all these pics,it looks great.
If a little thing like the neck joint is what's keeping others from enjoying this, that means more opportunities for other people to grab it and enjoy it.

Got mine today. Sweet figure, but I'm having trouble opening the case. I dont wan't to force it because... y'know. Anyway, is there a trick I'm missing? The instructions were no help.
