With new orders from Sideshow I haven't been getting ANY e-mail confirmations, for at least a month or 2,but they're showing up in my history order.
When I call them to ask to send me one, they seemed put out,it's not like I'm spending $5 these figures are pricey and I'd like a confirmation!
I just hope this doesn't happen to me down the line!

I always get a conformation email. I placed an order just last night and the email showed up within (honestly) 5 seconds of me confirming my order on sideshows website.

It actually was in my email before my order number showed up. It was kind of strange.

Got an email today from AE anyone ordering with them should start shipping in about 3 weeks

What I didn't like was the fact that I never received a shipping soon notice. Well, actually I was sent one saying taht the figure was shipping in two days. When I read it I was like WTF? Usually I get a two week notice so that I can send it the money via money order, but 2 two days????

I know this doesn't exactly help you to immediately fix the problem, but I'd just contact Sideshow (if that's where yours came from, obviously) and explain the issue.

I had a problem with the right arm repulsor in my Iron Man MarkII v2 and they sent me a replacement arm and were really quick about it. It had been over a month since I'd had the figure too. It was working fine when I first got it, then one day it just stopped working and new batteries didn't fix it.
Good luck!

Hey mate, thanks...unfortunately I bought it from a HongKong seller and form what I know Hot Toys offer sno after sales service then. So has anyone an idea how I open the inner cover of the suitcase to get to the cables and LEDs? Unfortunately this is already the second time with a HT producs where I have problems with the light up feature...last time was the Joker 1989 DX light up base.

@Adrosi

Thanks. :)

And here a photo of my problem...hope this won't be too common when others here get the fig:

I just got mine from SS and I am amazed at how much I like this figure. Nothing bad I can say about the figure at all. I'm also surprised by how nice the quality of his jacket is.

Agreed, a really great figure all round. No complaints or QC issues at all.

So.. I still think the likeness is off, but it's not bad enough that I don't enjoy the figure. It's sort of like the XO: Wolverine figure; it makes a great "Nick Fury", and that is almost just as worthwhile as a great likeness. I prefer when they strike a happy medium of great likeness and great "character" representation, but I think I'd rather have the later if I had to chose.

i just called Sideshow so they could process the last flex payment for the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. :rock :rock hopefully ill get a shipping notice today so i could get him tomorrow:yess:

Hm. I didn't have any trouble. I assume you put the finger on the trigger? And that you are using the proper hand?

Correct hand and finger on the trigger yeah, the gun stays in but the slightest nudge and it will drop out of position. If i cant fix it i'll just order another off ebay.
