@Blade: I like that you are a tolerant person and that you try not to complain much. Either way I'm thinking that it seems that you are ignoring me some times, what is not that bad for me! But I hope that you read this. Let P do his stuff or ignore it, as you do it with me. Ps I like you're ht predator reviews on youtube.:)

I'm ignoring you? When have I done that? It's not deliberate, I can assure you. I actually put P. on my ignore list, but I can still see and read your posts. Just didn't know any of them addressed me in particular so I didn't comment.

I't just seemed to me that way like you never include me in you're conversations or it only just seems so... but I won't be complaining here and you also said it's not deliberate. I never new that you and P had some issues together. Don't be too serious with it, I mean we are still talking here about figures and that should be something not taken soo damn seriously. I hope you guy's solve you're issues soon and discuss like collectors again.

nothing new

Waits for P.'s death threats.:lol

That's right. There's very little chance of anything changing with the final production figure.
I guess Hot Toys doesn't want my money? :dunno

This was my most anticipated figure of the year when they teased it, but after it was unveiled to be a Classic/Shadow Predator repaint it became my most disappointing figure of the year instead. A lazy cash-grab if there ever was one.

:lecture I can't argue that.

There has been a few of those lately from HT.

Begun, the downward spiral has.

Don't care about this figure since I will be purchasing the 1/4 scale Neca version. I have enough HT Predators in my case.
1/4 scale I do not have.

But how can you know this for sure? You can only compare already released final products to their prototypes and make predictons out of them for other final releases in the future, to see in which direction the company is going but you still won't be absolutely sure to say that they won't change anything on the final one.

So why or how do you think in this way? I curious about it, so please tell me.:)

Aren't those pictures still from the first and only prototype that also has been shown at the SDCC?

I never quite understood the hype of the Neca 1/4 P1 figures. I bought the masked & open mouth ones because I was hearing alot of good stuff about them but even though the sculpting was very good, I found the paint far less superior to HT & things like the netting cheap. There great value for money but there not HT quality but that's just my opion unfortunately because money wise, I would be much better of with Neca. Dont get me wrong though, I'm really disappointed in HT lame lazy attempt here to. Worries me that this will get poor sales & HT end up skipping the AVP's & P2 Elder because of this :(

The hype about the Neca ones is mostly down to their accuracy. Also because the P1 was kind of experimental for them, as far as I recall low-end 1:4 scale was kind of dying off and for some reason a Predator was deemed very unlikely for a long time. And in fact it isn't true 1:4 scale but they're still calling it that. As far as the accuracy hype though, well they live up to it for me. Like Bo Shrek thats where I'll get my predator fix from now on. I'm more interested in accuracy than quality on this one and as long as it doesn't break if I walk past it I'm good.

Accuracy is a very subjective thing and NECA just doesn't do anything for me when I see the actual figures in person, so the choice is obvious if money isn't a concern.
