Hot Toys - MMS173 - Predator 2: 1/6th scale City Hunter Predator Collectible Figure

You know sideshow is just paying so much attention to the marvel and dx series, that there not paying attention to the best lines like Predator, Alien, And Terminator. Hopefully one day they'll open there eyes and see how good the predators are.

They are really focused on doing updated preds with their 1/6 and 1/4 pred announcement. Terminator has got some luv lately too with a few new releases. The one that really needs some attention from hot toys is alien or more specifically imo aliens. A well done updated version of that line could break my wallet (so many cool characters and creatures) luckily for my wallet they still havnt even put out a prometheous figure yet so i dont see them redoing aliens anytime soon

What we really need is another manufacturer. A good competitor to make Hot Toys sweat a little. If our money isn't lining Hot Toys' pockets anymore, they'll make changes.

I would love to see sideshow or neca rise to the level of hot toys in 1/6 scale figures. Maybe with a little healthy competition i could actually afford this hobby

Ya i think thats probly just cuz marvel is so freaking popular right now, so us other collectors have to suffer. Aliens would be sweet, i still would love to see a 1/6 scale queen someday. I really wanted a fully suited space jockey/engineer from promethious wtf hot toys wtf..........................

I'm an Avengers/Iron Man/Marvel fan myself, but I'll admit that Hot Toys has been neglecting the Predator franchise (among others) in favor of Marvel.

So am I. Its just that they should slow down with marvel and speed up with the predators a little.

Five.
Last year I had 8. The year before that, even more.
I'm slowly selling them off and keeping only a few.

Space has always been an issue.

I'm right there with you on the first point, but on the second point, I think he did an awesome job on scars face(better then the movie IMO) but there are definitely areas he needs to work on, mainly using reference material and getting proportions right(like on scars armor)

I am still holding out hope that they will make an updated 1/6 scale t2 endoskeleton it's really the last terminator 1/6 scale piece I want, unless hot toys makes a t-1

Even if you don't like prometheous, you gotta admit a space jockey/engineer would make a cool figure. That's really the only prometheous figure I would buy, it would have to have the helmet on too and that way if you don't like prometheous you could always say its the space jockey (a cool bio mechanical-looking design)
