Yeah obviously this new release ****s all over the original. It's better in almost every way. My only complaint (and this is in general with ALL companies) is the complete lack of interest on their part to get the minor details correct. Yes they're minor and can easily be overlooked but they're still annoying especially when they could easily be fixed if the people working on them actually cared.

Agreed.
It's almost as if they're doing this intentionally to leave room for the next release of the same figure.

I completely agree with you, there is just not enough competition out there to make them care about all the little details like they should Beggers cant be choosers unfortunately

I keep hear people whine about the shoulder cannon but everyone always praises the old P2, even they both have the same shoulder cannon design! Yeah its wrong but c'mon this new one looks so much better. I do wish though they had included something unique with this new version like xenomorph skull.

How much u guys wanna bet they release another city hunter predator with battle damage?

It's true. In fact the more I look at him, the more difficult it is for me to find any detail about him that is accurate. It's like they were sculpting and painting him from memory instead of using source material. And there's some really questionable choices that make it obvious they just don't care. Black strings for the belt armor? Smooth brown leather holding the armor to the upper left arm? Did they even paint the armor or is it just brown plastic? That shoulder canon really summarizes their lack of care in a nutshell.

No, the original's dreads were naturally thicker and longer. As they should be.

If they'd simply sculpt (and paint) the bios and heads accurately, I'd be able to forgive almost every other screw-up they make.

I never thought I would say this but here it goes....
The more I see City Hunter the more I like HT's AVP Scar.
Saw Predator 2 in the theatres three times back in the day. Purchased the VHS, DVD and Blu ray. City Hunter has always been my favourite. I just don't feel it with this release. I went back and looked at the old BD HT Predator. I could see City Hunter there.....

I don't personally customize figures. For what these things cost, I shouldn't have to spend a penny more to "fix" it. Either I'm happy enough with the figure and buy it, or I pass altogether.

Isn't it hilariously stupid that after 5 years they gave us cool looking body but ******** looking head?!

Its not really a problem for me. I love the Predator mask designs. And his bio mask is the iconic look for the movie, he wears it most of the movie and then he uses his re-breather for alot of the movie.

I can see myself using him with his bio mask, looking strong with his combi stick in his hand. Or wearing his re-breather with severed arm

I cant see myself using just his bare face even if it did look movie accurate
