won't it help you to know that actually the netting on Winston predators is supposed to hang freely and never stick to the body / limbs?
stretch it a little, so it goes lower down on the arm. then imagine you try to put some wide pants into high boots. make a fold on net's end or something, put the gauntlet on, adjust everything. it's easier to do than to explain )

Thanks for the reply. I am not so much worried about the netting being tight against the body, but I would at least like the edge of it to be tucked under the gauntlet. I understand the approach you are trying to explain and I have been trying that for about an hour and just can't get it to stay. It doesn't help that the gauntlet never seems to stay put. As soon as I let go it slides right back off. The gauntlet on the left arm isn't this way. It appears to be secured in place somehow.

The more frustrated I get, the more I think I might just return it for a replacement. If I keep futzing with it I am worried I might end up tearing the netting or breaking the arm or something.

Really bummed :(

You could try to tie a thin thread to the netting, while pulling that outwards slide the gauntlet in. Then cut thread.

That's what I did in the old days when we had to assemble our HT Predators.

I wanted this figure so bad! CH is one of my fav preds!
Sucks it was messed up! The mandibles are unforgivable!

I know some people are content with this figure but this goes down as massive disappointment for me. Maybe it's because I was so hyped when I found out we were getting a v2.0 only to discover it was a poor attempt and quick cash in from Hot Toys.:(

True. For me, was my second Predator after the Lost one and the head is a big disappointment, the previous head was much much much better, they made a step back. The rest of the figure is all right, the body and the painting (excluding the head) is quite an improvement from the previous version.

BTW did anyone notice the netting on the City Hunter is medium-darkish grey? Not black as in the figure. I'm thinking on how to change color, maybe dye it with textile dye, but I'm afraid it will affect the paint apps.

But overall, still bad.:lol

few people mention it, and i've seen only two repaints - one on P2 and one on custom Boar.

I know it's old but I just got it yesterday

It's not horrible. There are some people who aren't satisfied with it though and that's their problem. That's how it goes with these 1/6 likenesses...

Horrible in what way? Just dead on bad och not movie accurate?

Big problem on the head because it is far from movie accurate, The head sculpt was totally not the City Hunter.

It looks like another Predator dressing-up (cosplaying) the P2 City Hunter.

You can see how bad was the new City Hunter's headsculpt.

Even the old HT battle damaged City Hunter's headsculpt was better than the new City Hunter's headsculpt.
I am totally sick with the new City Hunter's headsculpt.

haha that's my P2 head on the right :thud:
didn't see the collage before.

new head is horrible as a representation of P2 because it totally is not P2, and people who don't see that have problems with eyes )
but for me it plays Gort and is perfect for that role: P2 colors with non-P2 face.

Inaccurate and horrible are two different things. But that's how it goes with 1/6. Some people are ok with it and some aren't. If you don't like, don't buy.
