I was seriously thinking about buying this, but just went with the Steve Rogers head and battle-damaged shield to spruce up the WWII versions.

Sorry if this has been brought up before but you can even out the height disparity between the Avengers Cap and the FA Cap by switching out the foot pegs between these two figures.

The FA Cap has really short foot pegs but the Avengers Cap has the long ones so by swapping the two, the FA Cap will end up a little taller and the Avengers Cap shorter so they meet in the middle.

Forgot to take before pic but the top of the FA Cap's helmet tops out at around the eye/nose level of the Avengers Cap before this mod.

His pants unfortunately look a little saggy around the knees now. Can you pull them up higher to straighten them out?

That's what I had anticipated...and it's what held me back from making him shorter. You can pull the pants higher, but they can only go so far.

Why yes thanks for the advice. I went back to futz wit the pants.

Better than before...albeit just a little...and yes it can only go so far...

Luckily I think this worked out pretty well because I personally think that the waist portion (the red and white part) is a tad long on this figure. So sliding the pants up both shortens that part of the waist and fixes the knee part being too low. But that's just me.

My FA Cap came with both short & long foot pegs. Check your box, you could keep long pegs on Avengers cap and make FA taller to match. No bunched knees that way.

Haha interesting...didn't realize HT gave us long foot pegs because I remember some people did their own mods because the FA Cap was soooo much shorter than Iron Man and Thor.

But nonetheless I think even with the long pegs the FA Caps is still shorter than an unmodded Avengers Cap...gonna try to mess around more to see what happens

Yeah, mine was fitted with the short pegs as standard, the long pegs were wrapped up with the spare wrist pegs

If anyone else has ordered from the toy federation. I just spoke with them on the phone. They won't receive them for another 2 weeks. So it'll be 3 weeks before mine arrives. I may cancel and order from sideshow. It'll be cheaper as well and ill get it within a week or so.

How the hell do you put the hood on this guy? The snaps don't work, in fact, the stems are starting to bend if I put any pressure on them trying to get them into the rings.
