Does anyone else have him pre-ordered via a UK retailer? It seems to have gone all quiet them getting their stock in.

Dates I have found start at the 15th of this month and go up to some point in December. The only ones that seem close are 30th of November for receiving stock (Forbidden planet) and Collectibles direct where I order from has a December dispatch. Expecting to see mine the first week of December. Safe to say I am in no rush to pre order Celtic.

Well... it has been a while since I ordered any PF's or Hot Toys 1/6 scale Figures and after finally paying off 2 of my Credit Cards I can now afford to start collecting again. :)

I finally ordered the Scar Predator and should have it sometime this morning. :)

From what I have seen on YouTube videos this looks like it is going to be the nicest Predator Hot Toys has put out since Version 2 Classic.

I already have the "Celtic" Predator on pre-order as well even though it will be more than likely over a year before he is finally released.

I have been hoping that Hot Toys would redo the AVP Predators and now they finally are. There was no way I would ever have paid up to $2,000 for the very cheaply made original AVP Predators such as the original Celtic.

This is going to be one amazing looking Scar Predator and I do miss the smell of opening a brand new box to a Hot Toys figure.

I like how the spear is smaller in diameter making it not look IMO kinda retarded looking like the original spears look and I never display my Predators with their spears because they just look too big and cheap.

This morning will be a happy one for me. :)

Yeah I have him on pre-order at Collectiblekitbash UK so hopefully the waiting game is over soon.

Is this figure really selling that well ? I still see loads of people in China\far east with 10+ stock, Where in the past they would have been either out of stock or very low after months of this figure being out.

I'm still waiting for Scar and my 1/4 DKR to arrive. Have pre-ordered this guy as the base is just too good. Looking forward to completing the set with Chooper and suspect we'll see a new Alien sooner or later.

What do you guys think between this one and the classic predator?
Which one has the best articulation and accessories?
Overall?

I think HT Preds are not selling that well at all unlike before, even in the secondary market. No matter how good the figure is, it seems that only the true Predator fans support the releases lately.

Scar Predator's being sold for way below retail at some local stores here and still the stocks don't seem to move.

could be due to people not having the money it dont help either when HT start bumping prices up and people can only afford to get the one figure they want even if they want one more from other lines or so

Been observing the local secondary market and it seems that what collectors here in our country want are just the Batman and Marvel/Avengers/Iron Man line. Sell a Predator/Terminator/Alien Hot Toy for 20% off its retail price and you still won't have luck. Sell a DX12/Mark7 with a $100 mark-up and it's gone within an hour. :dunno

Predator/terminator/alien haven't had decent movies in years.

The last Terminator movie was pretty terrible, and the Predators thing was fun, but not fantastic. Prometheus was a turd and didn't even have any aliens. The Avengers/Marvel machine is big right now and blowing people away. Even the last Thor movie was pretty good.

Yeah, that's a valid point. I guess Terminator/Aliens/Predator fans and collectors are becoming a rare breed as the younger generation don't actually have a connection with these classics. I think this could also explain why a lot of Toy Companies seems to want to dip in the new RoboCop franchise hoping that it would sell especially to new fans, while HT and EB are targeting the fans of the original.

Yeah, I mean HT did a really smart thing by making movie toys. It's basically a 2 hour high budget commercial for their products where Hollywood pays the advertising bill. The downside being that if there isnt' a big movie out for a line it won't sell as well. But I don't think it's a huge problem. Predator will always be around until somebody makes a hit, and I'm sure they make enough off Iron Man to keep other lines alive.

Predators must have been a "Low Budget" movie because they "milked" that Predator camp as much as they could. Sad thing was it didn't even look cool. Very messy with **** everywhere. Must have been the "Sandford and Sons" of the Predator race!!!

It was a fun, dumb action movie but totally forgettable. The first one was so great because it had a gritty edge of a slasher film mixed in with good sci-fi and a tad of mystery.

Nobody knows how to do horror movies in America anymore so it makes sense they can't get a predator film right and just throw more extreme versions of the predator at the screen to make something stick.
