Scar is the next HT I have in mind. I have Berserker and Tracker but what I don't have is a Predator in "netting" which I would like. Not to concerned about the trio though

Now that I received my Joker 2.0 (this past Friday – pictures on that thread), the next figure I am considering is the Scar Predator. Now I already have two other Predators (Berserker and Tracker) so the Predator line is represented in my collection. What I don't have is a Predator in "netting" that is why I am considering. What HT's should do is release this thing before SDCC arrives . Because if HT's reveals other exciting stuff I might just pass on this "Bad Boy"!!!
Get Classic, Scar and Samurai. You won't be disappointed.

samurai is a horrible predator not even considered a predator that was a big pass for me it was just not worth the money

Yeah I have to agree. Did someone illustrate a conceptual drawing of a Predator in Samurai gear thought it was cool and Hot Toys created a figure of it? Is it from a Comic Book? I do not know where this guy came from so I cannot relate to it. Surprised people are paying big bucks for something that did not exist in a movie.

I do really like the Samurai pred but not enough for the sponds they wanted.

Samurai Predator is from a design by highly regarded Japanese garage kit sculptor Takayuki Takeya, who has done many Alien/Giger and Predator inspired models for many years.
Hot Toys had an appreciation for his work and collaborated with him on a unique "artist series" Predator figure.
I didn't like it initially, but I have grown to appreciate and admire it as a pretty ballsy release for a company like HT that usually plays it safe with character selection.

Samurai was a wasted announcement............ lol
but i would not mind Narin's predators in HT 1/6 scale and ive seen some really cool custom predators on the forum or on deviant art drawings that would be cool but to ME Samurai is garbage ,sorry .

Take it from me, Samurai Predator turned out to be an excellent release, and I have owned just about every HT Predator they have ever made. I was very hesitant at first to buy it, but once I saw OMG's pics, I had to have it. Once I received it, I just about s*** a brick. He is a one of the highlights of my Predator collection now. I understand if you don't like the design or the fact that it is not a movie related character, but to call it garbage is pretty asinine. Perhaps I you use the term garbage differently than I do.

To each his own, I guess. He calls it garbage, I call it a gem in my collection. IMO it's one of the best HT figures in and out the Predator line, and I'm lucky to have scored a local store's display unit for $235.
I do understand those who don't dig it for reasons such as it wasn't from any of the official movies, etc. I have that feeling towards Big Red. Samurai is a great and unique vision and not a repaint of the original Pred with a few add-ons.
Ive always dodged it purely cuz i never liked samurai's price, i'd pay that for wolf or celtic though.
It's the best Predator to date. Unless you got it in hand, you don't know what you're talking about.
If samurai predator had a predator's face I would have thought he was cool. But unfortunately he doesn't. Add to that the fact that Sideshow/Hot Toys made that lame we basically don't care about our customer's excuse for the purple head fiasco and he was a definite pass for me. Bring on Scar, Chopper, Celtic, Wolf, Elder, etc....

Looks awesome. I want to reach into the picture and futz the dreads though. Or put it on a diorama base in the ninja combi-stick pose. Looking forward to seeing the silver visor on the final product.
