predators of Thomas br. are hunters who like to stalk dangerous animals and kill them with being seen and hit as less as possible.PPreds respect combat skill and thats about it, the only thing anderson got right was picking some cool bio designs from what adi made for him
as for what they "respect" - P1 was a real forest hunter, stalking and killing from far, and didn't even get a chance to remember the words "combat skills", because being physically superior he cannot really compete a human both times he tried.
and P2 loved blood baths and death cries, he hit crowds instead of single prey, setting the ring with panic & surprise, not competing the skills.
Thomas predators enjoy hunting and killing while AVP predators respect riting and combating, and the main difference here is not even in subject of their hobby, but in "enjoying" and "respecting". completely different worlds. well it's quite possible if they have inhabited several worlds and developed completely different civilisations, like in Asimov's Elijah Baley and R. Daneel Olivaw series.
there is absolutely no way to make an interesting movie "Something VS Something".Another AVP movie (in space/future) would probably cost to much from a producers viewpoint but I think it could be very successful if done right, even if its lower budget - I think all it needs are some cool predators with some good action and a decent story with some decent aliens. The humans in AVP were so dull and empty imo. I think they could use another planet and/or some kind of spaceship without spending to much money on huge elaborations in order to make it a cool movie.
it has been proved through years.
it's just not a movie format.
