Does anyone have a link to the best way to remove the fat suit. I know they've been many different way. I'm looking for one of the best ways.

I'm specifically looking for the way that gives the best arm articulation

I'm deathly afraid that if I ever tried to remove the fat suit I'd ruin the costume with my clumsy hands

I personally wouldn't try it. I haven't modded any of my figures before and to me the end result doesn't make that much of a difference from the stock fig to attempt to modify.

Just glad to see people receiving their figs. Still gotta wait till March fo mine I guess. That's when the last flex pay got bumped too. Still excited for this though. Cant wait.

Here's my modded Cap. Swapped it over to a Christopher reeves body, added some padding to the chest and cut the arms right off of the undershirt and added elastic to hold them together. Gives more shoulder movement.

Order from Kit at onesixthkit

Ok I can't find them on his site but thanks anyway.

Pics below. Also, i reckon the Strike suit looks fine. I will most likely take a few pics in a few poses, then put it in the vanilla museum pose all my Caps are in.
So it will do me okay.

Well you know how I feel about it, no point going on about it.

Got mine today, I am very dissapointed with the articulation on the upper body. Also the chest looks flat.

It is flat, I am trying to work on fixing that look up but so far I have had no success. The only thing that I have accomplished that looks better is obtaining the V shape torso. The stock figure has practically no V shape at all, it is just so straight.

I will be taking off the fat suit with the instructions from the reviewer king (clipper king) that he posted in youtube.

You will get more articulation by doing the Rubber suit mod, someone said here just cut the front and not the back, then the suit doesn't fall out but.:dunno

I just cutout the mid section, left the chest padding an the padding on his crutch. I am happier now with the look and got more mobility out of him.

On another note Steve Rogers is perfect. I hope Hot Toys resolves this issue with the AOU Cap but I am truly happy with the STRIKE suit Cap. I can see why people would prefer the AOU version but think about it, once the AOU Cap comes out people would want the Civil War Cap hahahahaha!!!!! Also, this is the STRIKE suit, how can you pass on such a unique SF military style Captain America :)

I have an extra MOS body would this work to fix the problems with him, or would it screw up the scale?

I don't know man it is worth a try I guess, someone on here said they wouldn't recommend it though.

So you did this?

Now that you modded it? Going by the look of AOU proto it looks like they have used a standard body with just padding because the body looks smaller than the Strike suit Proto. I mean look at this chest on the strike suit proto, those pecs are huge! :horror

Yeah I know it is my favorite one out of all the uniforms, yet there is not much color to it, so it is a rather simple design when you think about it. :)

That is exactly what I did and it wasn't that hard at all. Just be careful where you cut. The fat suit is very thick.
