The bootleg Rogers sculpts are awful. I had one that was thrown in with my GA Cap by a fellow freak that I bought him from. I turned around and sold it immediately for $30. Likeness is off. There's a reason most bootlegs are $25-30. They are typically garbage.

I think we could definitely use a dedicated mod thread for this figure.

Do you mean that in a good way or a bad way? If you mean that in a good way then the only mod that can fix this figure is if you can change the body. The Superman Christopher Reeve's one is the closest but the problem with that one is the sunken chest due to pecs being too high on the Reeve body.

Great. Thanks.(edit, that makes it look a lot better and it's not a permanent mod).

Here is a link to what mod torso looks like finished with the suit on. :wink1:

Well even the official head is a little off :monkey3

Wow I thought I was the only one that thought that! :hi5:

Yeah its still good but is it 100%?

Not even close, I would say 70% IMO, there is just something off with the eyes.

Prototype-wise at least I'd say Thanos is my favorite yet. Might be a neutral sculpt but they nailed it. As long as the final product ends up that way

It should of came with an extra grinning sculpt!

So the sculpt itself is off? I have to admit it looks deformed in some of the pictures like the head looks stretched or something. :dunno

It looks like a guy that could be related to Evans but not Evans himself. Stretched is a good way to put it. Almost too thin and tan in the face and the nose was a little pointy. Plus the hair color is just too blonde. I'd take any of the unmasked HT sculpts any day over it.

Oh that is interesting, I didn't notice that, all I noticed was the head shape looked odd.

I think anyone would, the only reason why people buy boot legs is because they are as cheap as chips, whereas HTs ones are very expensive and triple the price! :horror

this is all I see now :lol

It's not too bad for $26 per head. I have since been able to get 12 official sculpts for about $50 each, so i will be replacing my bootlegs anyway.
As has been noted, the sculpt looks slightly stretched, and a bit more tanned than it should be, but it doesn't seem nearly as bad to my eye as it does in a photograph.
Even the ones i have taken myself, lol.
I am sure you guys know what i am talking about. You have a great looking figure in hand and love it to bits, then take a pic and upload it, and all of a sudden, you see what seem to be flaws but are just artefacts of the process of taking a pic.
:lol

Perhaps len's distortion is the reason the sculpt looks even longer in pics than it does in pics, because it really looks too long and stretched.

I'll try to take a pic from further away to try and mitigate the lens distortion.
The Rogers sculpts are great compared to this nightmare fuel. And it sells for $90 on eBay. :slap :lol

Nightmare fuel. That would fuel my nightmares, lol.
