I don't see any neck seams in the promo shots of Rogers.
So, fair to say a seamless HS was what HT was aiming for in the first place.

How hard is it to remove the suit to switch the bodies?

Not as hard as I thought but be careful when removing the vest and touching the stealth shirt so you don't rub the stealth shield decal and rogers decal off. At first the stealth shirt will be hard to remove because of the padding in the shoulders is compressed quite hard against the shoulders.

I thought the top half did not come off the body.

The fat suit is non removable but everything else is, just takes some effort.

Darkavatar you were the one I saw the rubberband mod from. It seemed the simplest mod to give the fig a bit more definition.

Not sure if definition is the right word as it just gives the body more of a V shape than the rectangular shape the stock torso has because of the fat suit. However, it won't give individual areas more shape like the lats. It also makes the stealth fit tight against the body, as that is quite loose.

Thanks for the info Darkavatar. I am still unsure as to what I will do. It sounds like switching the bodies out is the only way to get the correct shape and articulation. But I imagine it is a pain to do so. Time to do some research.

I have yet to see a mod that looks perfect, so even if you switch bodies, it still won't be the correct shape, it will be just better and closer to the proto. So far no one has put this suit on a body identical to the proto because no one knows what body would be the correct one to use. As for articulation, that has to do with the rubber suit itself and thus, not even switching bodies will fix that. Removing the fat suit helps the arms and abs move to a significant degree though but only cutting the rubber suit will fix those gorilla arms.

Mine should be arriving today. Guess I'll look him over and decide if I want to risk modding him. Right now I'd lean toward rubber band since it carries no real risk of damage.

I have another 2 weeks maybe, before my Cpa arrives.
I was so hyped seeing the promos and almost all my axcitement is gone. I didn't expect him to be perfect (because, really, every company will only show the nicest pics to promote their product) but still....
He's not gonna be the way I expected (hoped) him to be, even knowing I wouldn't get a 1:1 replica of the promos. and I surely won't risk any modding, causse I'm bad at fixing stuff. it'd only end in desaster.

Haha, you were able to get a head sculpt from toyanxiety??!! I thought you just missed out too. Where did you get the shield?

No I managed to get it from Monkey Depot... They restocked later that evening after Toy Anxiety sold out. By the time I finished checking out the Rogers sculpts were already gone lol. And I bought the shield off a fellow board member here.

The upper torso is the t-800, the lower torso and legs are reeve and the arms are the strike suit arms.

I was collecting all these ideas on modding STRIKE Cap and when he came in today and in hand he looks good enough to me. Im a museum poser so it'll probably stay posed like this. I had no fraying on the cuffs but I didn't change the hands.

Mine is like that too. I had to angle it weird for him to hold it without the shield falling off... either we're both doing something wrong or we got bad straps.

They've always been like that.
I tend to not have mine holding the front strap.
I take off that hand, slide the shield up his forearm till the large strap is held in place, then reattach the hand, and friction holds the shield on.

I thought one strap was always bigger because that was the strap that was supposed to go further up where his arm is bigger? I usually take the hand off, slip the shield on with the smaller strap toward the hand and then put the hand back on.

I think they're all like that, and I did the same thing like what Username & Cofphoto mentioned, although I ultimately put the shield in without removing the hands at all, as I'd failed multiple attempts to get the hands back on the wrist peg after sliding the shield in.

Instead, I just unclipped the first (smaller) leather loop, and slid the shield through as high up the arm as it could possibly go (probably why the second loop is larger, so as to reach further up the arm), and clipped back the first leather loop to the shield. And the shield stays put nicely that way

I might be in the minority but I think modding worked out great for me. I love the extra bit of articulation in the arms because I like the fact that I can finally raise the shield
