Thanks to The Reviewerking for the mod tutorial. I've never modded a figure ever, but I felt compelled to do so because I could not NOT like this figure. The arms fall much more naturally now.

Yeah tried that. Problem is the glove hand is too open and doesn't really grip the smaller strap so it starts to slide down. I'm thinking of swapping out the gloves for another pair that has an actual gripping hand and more flared out wrists that will cover the lower arms of the suit better will help. Jeez this figure has so many issues.

Sorry. I am totally forgetting that this one only has smaller gloves...
I have mine attached with a magnet, so it didn't apply to me, lol.
I just took a spare shield out of the wrapping and tried it on his other arm and it fits tightly.
Take off the gloved hand and push the large shield strap up his arm till it's tight, making sure to slip the other strap on the bottom. Then reattach the hand.

Just did Clipperking's mod and removed the fatsuit. Surprising simple and effective mod. I just made two cuts along each side of the torso under the arms and pulled it out. Then I stuffed a couple of cotton balls under the chest. You could even add some cotton balls to the abdomen if you wanted too but I left it. Arms now have better articulation. Hot Toys really needs to stop putting bulking suits underneath these figures. They always cause more trouble than they're worth.

Still have to puff up the chest a bit, but very happy with the results of this mod.

What mods did you perform? It looks GREAT.

Any pics anyone have of where and how much to cut the blue rubber suit?

Also does anyone want to paint my Gloves,belt and boots to look more weathered?

The only mod I did to my Caps was remove the fat suit, I didn't cut the rubber suit underneath. I don't know why people keep saying they can't pose him, he is quite posable. His costume is less restrictive than TFA and Avengers Cap, and that is why Hot Toys probably made his shirt in two separate pieces. I think people are just afraid to rotate his shoulders or bend his elbows. Of cause he looks like a dweeb when you put him in a normal standing pose, so I try to avoid doing that.

I think out of the box he is an okay figure. Why HT decided to bulk him up as much as they did is a mystery to me. Without the fat suit, and a few cottonballs in the chest area, this fig is fantastic and also has great poseability to go along with it. I hate to jump the gun, but it makes me nervous as to what they will do with the AoU Cap.

Thought I was going to have to sell this guy to help pay for Falcon. Turns out, I don't though. Thank God! Glad I'm keeping him. Was the whole point of the two pack for me. Love this Fig. Quick shot, with simple pose.

Congrats on getting to keep Steve. He's a really cool figure considering how basic he is.

I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get winter soldier fight attire. I'm still waiting to see if pop toys releases a set or something.

Saw Cap 2 quite a few times. I guess my age really has destroyed my memory (that and/or the extensive drug use in my "youth") because I have no recollection of a "fight attire". I'll do a quick search and maybe rematch the movie if I can't easily find it on tha intrawebz.

Ok, I saw it. The beginning when he encountered Fury. Looks like a very scaled down version with a full jacket, matching black pants and only the launcher gun (though he'd have to be hiding some small weapons under his clothes).
