This is the Predator I'm getting to represent AVP. I'm getting Elder for P2, Wolf, P1 + Dutch and Berserker. Then I'm done with Predators.

I am pretty sure we will see another predator release this year. Last year we got Celtic 2.0 and Elder 2.0 shortly after .

Man, I feel bad for anyone who ever shelled out over $1K for the original version.

Figure looks really good though, while I'm not a fan of re-releasing older figures the Predators have all been improved upon dramatically and the AVP's have probably benefited the most.

Curious how long it will be before the redo the Wolf? He'd probably look great with the current upgrades.

I think the wait for Wolf is due to him having different body. So far, all the 2.0 versions Preds have used the same Predator body. Wolf would require a new body as he was a lot leaner than the other Preds.

That's a good point, while I probably won't be buying (just need a small Pred collection) I'd love to see him redone. He's a great looking design.

Man I just want my Elder 2.0, Wolf 2.0, Chopper 2.0, and a new Dutch and Jungle Hunter already.

He does look good and depending on price I may, may pick him up but to be honest I would rather save the cash as I will more than likely be getting the new BRJ as well.

Doubt I'm going to get this, but I do like how it turned out. Love that they're including both bios, the speared Alien head looks great, and I think it's rad that they're giving each unmasked head a unique design. Makes me excited for what Chopper's noggin might look like.

Disappointed that they reused Celtic's Grid Alien base. I guess they wanted to make this as enticing as possible, but they would've been smarted to nix the base and charge less money. Or to give us something new instead.

I might be tempted to grab a spear separately off eBay, but the figure will likely be a total pass for me. More interested in what *else* they're showing this summer.

The other thing as well to take into consideration is if I was to get him and then Chopper 2.0 then that would be FOUR Predators from arguably the worst movie in my collection.

There's technically nothing crappy about this figure, it just happens to be 95% the same as 2 other figures. This is definitely a tough buy for me, im on the fence.

Fantastic, i need a new Predator for my collection, ive not had one in ages. And i used to have all the hot toys and sideshow masks.

I was going to buy the Celtic at some point, but this is far better for my needs. I love the " eagle " masked Ancient, and given this has the 2 Masks its 2 different predators you can display. Makes a bit less sense that an Ancient is stood over Grid, but it didnt make much sense with Celtic either since Grid didnt die like that. But it does look like they altered Grids head on the base, to look like its had a hole blown in it or something so its no longer a grid exactly... but it makes no sense that we see the proper yellow alien blood in the head but green blood seeping out of it.

Exactly. I never understood that move with Grid's severed head. This is a much better idea and I wish it was included with Celtic.

I don't need this one or Elder so I'll try to scoop the base and speared Xeno head on the Bay if I can get fair enough prices

No, Ancient is in the flashback scene for about two minutes.

Which is about 115 seconds more than half of the Iron Man armory being produced. Figure worthy I say!

But in all seriousness, it just looks like they've made a decision to completely revamp all the original AVP figs (aside from Anicom Scar). I have no doubt now that Elder will be soon to follow. Probably before Chopper

yes of course. just the level of recycling is too high for such a dull hero.
i just met my board of refusing a predator figure for its dullness, it's an event for me and me personally.
still could get parts for main AVP cripples )
"should" is even more appropriate.

Yeah, I'm wondering how long it will be before we get a new Jungle... maybe they'll wait until they can safely charge $400 for him In the meantime I'm more than happy with my Predators version using the bits he was missing from the first predator release.
