Because HT use unstable rubbers and plastics in their products. Not only do they crack and bend but also chemically react with each other on touch and break down. They use what looks good not what they should use, or at least research the longevity of a substance. There's no excuse for it. I would imagine some of these materials fall into the banned plastics category from the East. (phthalates).
But.. Why is this conversation happening in this HT Star Wars thread?
