I'm in the same boat, and have a lot of Sideshow Star Wars stuff. But damn HT makes such pretty toys.

Me too. I hated the thought of Hot Toys getting the license when it was still rumors because it meant buying new versions of the figures I already had. I hate 1st world problems.

It's the Stormtrooper belt - so you can turn the short Trooper into Luke.

Awesome. Not sure if the likeness is as good as the X-wing Luke proto--sculpts seem pretty similar--but this looks badass. Love all the accessories though that's got me thinking $229 or $239 (which would actually be funny compared to the bare bones X-Wing release).

I think it looks fantastic, slightly stylised for sure, but it's a pretty good likeness and is by far the best farm boy Luke we have seen. In fact it's the best Luke we have seen. SS X-Wing Luke looks good, but I'm reserving judgement on that until we wee the production version and if they have fixed their issues. At least with HT you know you are going to get something similar to the proto.

The darkness of the hair is my only real comment, the costume looks fantastic.

Loving the headsculpt, hair may be a bit too dark but nothing dettering to me.
I'm very pleased with thos proto shots and will preorder this as soon as it goes up at my local store

Looks really good pretty impressed with all the assessories and I'd like to see a price point under $240us. I will have to give this release some serious thought.
