Yeah I saw that. Of course after they see the reviews and box office for the new movie they'll probably reconsider, or at the very most only release Neo.

I'd love a re release of the original as I missed that one. While I thought the new movie was good/decent, I wouldn't get any figures from it.

But 6.1/10 on IMDb from 18k review, and I trust IMDb (real people) over critics who have demonstrated countless times over the last several years that they are out of touch with the everyday audience.
That said, I hope it is good!

I dream of a Reloaded Neo, Trinity with a 1/6 Ducati and Morpheus with his katana and full auto pistol.

I passed on this one because the Reloaded/Revolutions look is all I really want. I doubt I'd be able to afford Trinity & Morpheus, with NWH, MoM, SW and all that. But a proper Neo would be a GOAT.

I started it last night and was really enjoying until I fell asleep. That's more a comment on my age and trying too late to start a long movie. Anyway, even without finishing it, I think a Bugs would be cool.

I will consider the resurrection never happened. Hot toys don't bother...

I liked the movie, but there's nothing I want from it. Neo and Trinity don't wear their "classic" costumes until the very last scene. They spent the whole film wearing regular casual clothes.

Considering how much footage from the first film is in Resurrections, I could see HT releasing Neo from the first film again. Other than that, Neo and Trinity from the last scene are the most obvious choices.

New Morpheus wore A LOT of interesting costumes and had weapons, so he would make a cool figure, but it'd be a shame not to get the original Morpheus instead.

Like a lot of people here, I just want Neo from Reloaded. I have the 99 Neo, and it's cool, but I still want Reloaded. Smith in his green suit from the first Matrix would be nice too, but I'll take Reloaded version as well.

I finished watching it and without spoiling anything I enjoyed it for what it is. I thought the online vitriol it's getting is a bit unwarranted, or rather-- shouldn't sway you from judging it yourself since you might find merit in some of the things that people are complaining about. For me it was a solid 3 out of 5, it lacks the conviction to go all the way trough with some intriguing ideas and the action was major step down from the previous films, but I was engaged enough throughout and there was even a scene that genuinely moved me, which is a first since I've always been indifferent to the human drama in these films lol.

Exactly. That's why I said earlier I don't know what they could make really...Neo and Trinity even don't use any single weapons at all.
Only last scenes and Bugs are interesting for me. Seek with his cyber look and the other characters don't interest me.
I too would love at least an outfit of neo from the last scene of resurrections, his classic outfit and his " priest " like outfit from reloaded/ revolution.
A bit of a shame he had to keep his John Wick longhair look. But well we' ll see.

The long hair look worked for a lot of the movie, but in the last scene, I expected him to look a bit more Neo-y there, and visually it would have signalled more of his awakening. But, I get it. Bugs is the main one I want from this movie regardless.

The state of hot toys these days means we are more likely to get a lazy reissue than something new. Then the reissue will sit for years since most people who wanted it already bought it

The new movie is meh. First, they ironize on the Matrix legacy and then retell Reloaded and Revolutions with some differences.
I would rather have Trinity from the lobby scene and Morpheus with pills from The Matrix.
