Yep Smith will be up for pre-order in 2021 instead of 2022.

Right now Hot Toys seems to have Keanu confused with Johnny Depp. Who knows, but I don't have a lot of confidence in anything else.

Could just be my circles but were at point where the 20 year cycle for nostalgia to kick in for the first movie and over the last few months I've gradually been seeing a lot more talk about these movies on social media.

Could be. Or it could be like most of the anniversaries to most of the famous franchises collected around here... nothing.

HT has a lot to do this year with the final Avengers installment AND the final Star Wars installment. Not to mention any number on other properties this summer and Christmas.

If Matrix gets anything else, its likely a simple reuse of Neo in monk gear.




I think if HT was really 'watching' Matrix sales, they would have PO'd Agent Smith around the time Neo dropped to help sales of this and help sales of Smith. As it is, without a complement figure and no sign of Smith after teasing the proto for several shows, I will likely cancel my Neo PO.

Well I wasn't feeling much excitement for this until seeing the in-hand pics, so hopefully once more of those get out there it'll encourage more sales and HT will decide there's enough interest to continue the line.

Howard Chan is a big fan of the Matrix, so i would be surprised if we don't get more figures from the line eventually. HT are no doubt contractually obliged to put out Marvel / Star Wars figures roughly the same time as the movies are released, forcing all other properties into a queue.

I'm in the same boat. I'm waiting on Neo and Strange in 'payment processing' limbo. The payments have both gone through at least.

It was suggested a few pages ago that a lot of Sideshow stock is stuck at the docks due to Chinese New Year and the Government shutdown shenanigans. But the CNY just ended so if thats related to the holdup then that should help these get processed to Sideshows warehouses sooner.

I'm still waiting on hearing from Alter Ego about when they anticipate getting stock in...

Hopefully your shipping notifications are just stuck in the chaos that is Sideshow right now. This is amongst the earliest shipping notifications I've gotten from SS, usually get them around 10 at night.

Sideshow's website is an absolute dumpster fire right now. I have shipped items still in the open order section, nrd paid pre-order still waiting to process, etc. Who knows what is what. According to the site my Neo hasn't shipped either.
