Sometimes I rather take some movie inaccuracies and have cloth under-suit instead of the rubber.

Honestly he makes such a brief appearance and is so hard to make out the details on that I think you could get away with making a few minor improvements like trading the rubber sleeves for a cloth material. He's not like most other troopers where there's a ton of onscreen reference material you need to abide by.

Solo takes place how many years before Rogue One? I'd like to get the patrol trooper but don't plan on having a Solo movie display, so was wondering if this figure would look out of place in an R1 display.

RO takes place immediately before ANH, and I think they said Solo was 10 years before that. Either way though I think the trooper would fit in perfectly well with those figures, or even other OT troopers.

Rogue One is 0 BBY (Before Battle of Yavin)
Solo (Mimban) is 10 BBY
Solo (Corellia) is 13 BBY
Revenge of the Sith is 19 BBY

The Patrol Trooper will fit right in with the RO troopers. It has the same design language and even some of the same parts as some of the RO troopers.

Rogue One and Solo have the same costume designer as well.

They established a cohesive look for the “Rise of the Empire” era in Solo, RO, Rebels, etc. so we’ll continue to see it in upcoming era media like the Cassian series and Fallen Order.

I think it fits in great with OT troopers as well, like the RO troopers.

It’s amazing that the Solo/RO trooper designs seamlessly blended into canon. They took existing elements and combined them with all new designs while staying true to the established universe.

I am thankful to HT for ongoing Marvel announcements. They allow me to save money for SW releases.

Arrived today from Alter Ego! Thinking about giving him the donut from the Mark IV since he is basically an MP.

I received mine about a week ago but just opened it up last night. I love the design of the armor, and Hot Toys did an incredible job translating it into figure form. Looks phenomenal. Excellent articulation, too. Really disappointed that the other Solo troopers are MIA because I would love a Mimban Stormtrooper.

I know there are some folks worried about the rubber ribbing on the elbow area. The sleeves of the under jacket are fairly loose, so you can get some elbow bend without really flexing the rubber. It's not like the Death Troopers of First Order TKs that have the rubber tightly over the elbow joints.

Either way, I'm not terribly concerned. For what it's worth, I've had my DTs and FOTKs posed with their elbows bent and the material is still fine.

I had the elbow on a TFA stormie bent for a long time in the classic holding blaster position and a permanent mark (slight tear through top layer of inside elbow started to show eventually). Looks okay on screen but such an unfortunate material to have to translate into a collectible.

Mine is on hold at Timewalker cause I'm waiting for the Stormies to arrive - but tempted to just have him sent out

Does Timewalker hold them for a certain time? I have a pair of HTs on preorder together, but I wasn't sure if there was any time limit on it.

This really turned out quite nicely if you ask me. Sort of regret cancelling. Might end up ordering again at some point. It'd be nice getting it discounted, although I still feel like this could be like the Shoretrooper where it sells out and skyrockets in the aftermarket.
