Yeah, but they kind of kill 2 birds with one stone with a game release. Battlefront had the ESB Snow Troopers. Here they could do Scout troopers for the game and ROTJ. Done.

That's why I even mention it. It's more related to getting OT Star Wars figures/troopers which are missing.

I hope for a scout trooper too, then I'm done with OT troopers.

I think I've gotten over my desire to buy this one now, but am still looking forward to seeing all the pics in here. For me it was kind of in the same category as the Praetorian Guard. A very cool looking figure but just not important or iconic enough to justify buying and squeezing into my SW collection.

Well if only I had your control, cause I’ve got two Praetorian guards now. But they look so badass- the patrol trooper however? Probably not

It’s always cheaper to buy the full figure.
You can always sell the parts you don’t need and recoup all your money.

I got a 13% back eBay bucks promotion today and ordered this. Will be $209 minus the eBay bucks, was definitely an impulse buy, hope I love it lol

This is actually one of those figures that I bought just to use the parts for other figures - a lot of times it’s cheaper to just buy the whole thing than the parts.

I’ve bought two. One to be a patrol trooper. And the other is mostly to make a 1.0 Imperial Scout, and a few parts are being used to make a 1.0 Stormtrooper.

Both the Scout and Trooper are head canon of course, but I’m closely following the early Imperial design convention established in these new films. Say what you want about the new films, the design is amazing!

Yeah, everyone is saying this is going to be a repeat of the Death Trooper and Shoretrooper.

I really love the look of this trooper. I can’t wait to get mine. I’ve been planning my custom 1.0 Stormtrooper and 1.0 Imperial Scout projects for a year now. So excited to be starting soon!

Received mine today.

It really is a striking trooper design. For me it's the best looking trooper since 1983, only suffering from the recent movie preference for rubbery under suits.

And that's the only thing I don't like about him - the crinkly rubber sleeves. They're not too bad if his arms are only slightly bent. It feels like a fragile material but it's similar to that used on Gamora's knees, which is showing no signs of deterioration.

I re-watched Solo last week when I knew the Patrol Trooper was on the way, and it's pushed Rogue One into fifth place. It gives me the Brian Daley/L. Neil Smith vibe of those old adventures that weren't concerned with the Skywalker dynasty. The Patrol Trooper seems to fit right into that universe.
