I've never tried to fit any other figure in the powerloader. If HT made it properly to scale then there should be no problem.
Only thing about boxing it up when its assembled actually, I've just thought of this, is any pressure on the hoses could well cause them to break off the pegs. However I prefer that risk than the risk of breaking more important structural parts like hip joints, shoulder joints etc were I to be disassembling it completely.
