I can't wait for this... THESE are the Predator figures I have been waiting for. I've sold all of my other ones, because I knew I was buying them soley because I wanted this one. Now I can finally have the figures I wanted from the start.

Ya, I'm very impressed with all the Predators, but I've been focused on getting ones that I care about. I got the P2 because it looked badass and I couldn't wait to finally have a Predator figure to have fun with, and I really like him so no regrets, and I got the first Wolf because I really liked his design. No Cleaner version, not one AVP Predator because I'm not a big fan of their look. Been waiting through their offering for the original. Got the 1/4 bust to tide me over, not bad for only $8, but I'm delighted at how the figure looks so far and that it's finally here. I'll get multiples of first Pred.

The GREAT news is Predator Predator coming in the first wave! But the bad news is it could mean these 3 are all they're doing. Likeness rights may have become an issue and Fox just said OK release these and that's it. In all other lines, HT typically held off on releasing the "monster" in the first wave... they usually like to get people committed in anticipation first. At least that was the old model.

HT already has a Weathers likeness from Rocky so I think more human figures are coming.... depending on likeness issues...

Are you sure about that? I seem to remember that there was a bit of a discussion about the Weathers likeness, and whether HT had the rights to it. I don't think that HT's Rocky Apollo Creed/Carl Weathers likeness is too great. It doesn't look like Weathers to me.

But I am all for a Predator Weathers. Good chance to make a real memorable 1/6 figure of Carl Weathers, and, you got to admit, the severed arm would make a great BD version! Although I hope the arm would come with the regular version!
Predator, Dutch and Dillon, that's the three I want to see. Blain would be sweet too though: there are just not enough 'god damned sexual Tyrannosaurus's' on our shelves!

Point is they could simply recycle that sculpt ( or tweak and recycle) and release it in kit version, much like they did with Aliens. A repaint could bring Dillon out of it but I see no reason why HT wouldn't do a Dillon at this point.

Well, I'm still trying to figure out what the real relevance of HT's Lost Predator figure is, so I can justify that I ordered him, but, apart from the fact that he's a little too green, he really looks bad ass. So yes, one can never have enough predators! At least when we're talking Predator and Predator 2. With the exception of the Wolf Pred, the design of the AvP preds has never reached the quality of the first two movies, and, that actually counts also for both AvP movies.
