I'm actually quite happy with that tease

Well I’m glad it made you happy!

I can’t feel the same though. I have a big hatred for league of legends due to my older cousin baby sitting me at the internet cafe and making me wait 8 hours for him on a regular bases

If this figure doesn’t come out this week though I’m going to actually lose my mind! I’m the type of boring collector who keeps everything MIB but this and the new Xeno is one that’s definitely going to be opened and possibly displayed. I’ll even buy a second to keep MIB too cause I’m sick in the head like that.

Fun fact about myself and I’m definitely going to get some hate for this one. I don’t have any figures displayed and haven’t for a long time

I miss Kyle. Loved his work on Hellraiser and T2 for NECA.

His Predator is still amazing. I remember the feeling seeing it at Toyfair 2010. Everything looked incredible.

Yeah the proportions alone were gamechanging. This was after HT's first attempt.

What I love seeing the most in any Jungle Hunter figure is the biomask. Kyle's was the first time I thought someone finally got it right. I immediately played AVP 2010 on my old PS3 to celebrate

It's the proportions that make it. Looks like it stepped right off the screen. Hot Toys Preds still look like toys with Predator features added on top.

The 1/4 version was the last I bought in that scale. I remember seeing people do repaints of it to spruce it up, but the base sculpt was incredible. It looks like that BTS footage of Kevin Peter Hall on set.

Still happily displaying my NECA 18'' JH aswell - I bought all 3 releases back in the day but reduced my displayed figures to just one with the closed mandibles head, my personal favorite of the sculpts. He's still got his shoulder-cannon which is not technically accurate for any movie scene with his mask off but I didn't want him looking too barebones.

Proportions wise, our old friend P. always said his torso was too small, especially compared to his thighs. I might agree with that. And if his torso had been bigger that would add some more height he ought to have. But otherwise, still one of the best representations of Jungle Hunter out there.

Honestly, I know nothing about League of Legends, but I do love Arcane. One of the best shows ever in my opinion.

And what if there's a figure you really want in your collection, but in the end it comes in a box without a window of some sort, so you can't see the figure inside. Do you still want it then?

That was one of the best shows ever for me. Am I remembering correctly that they also debuted the T2 figures at this one? I was blown away because we didn't yet have the HT line and my only previous Terminators and Predators were the McFarlanes which left an awful lot to be desired. And before those the Kenner lines.

And what if there's a figure you really want in your collection, but in the end it comes in a box without a window of some sort, so you can't see the figure inside. Do you still want it then?

Nah I actually just keep them stored in a dark cool space. I only buy figures of whichever character that I really like and try to stick to comic book character theme or characters that have at least appeared in comics just so I don’t impulse buy everything unless it’s something I truly love, for example Predator and Alien.

I’ll definitely open up the Predator and Alien figures though just so I can appreciate the details.

For the figures I own that are MIB I just watch a ton a reviews of on YouTube to get my fix like that instead of opening them. It also helps if I ever have to sell some if there’s ever any rainy days and need money quickly since they’re all brand new and still sealed.

This is so nostalgic for me. I owned quite a few of these figure in 7” scale. These were the days when I used to open everything
