Also, I have very, very little hope for Andor season 2. It's been years. And this doesn't help the flow of production.

It will feel... disconnected. If not jarring. To try to insert myself into that world again after so long.

It's not a movie sequel.

And I hold little hope that the talent will exucute their roles the same as before for these same reasons.

I remember clearly the back and forth about Andor. I personally was a fan. We cheered it on.

There were just as many that called it boring and overrated.

It never got the respect that I feel it deserved until at least 1+ yrs after it aired. After Disney gave us a slew of slop, then EVERYONE started appreciating Andor. Kinda funny.

Yeah I kinda get what you’re saying. Andor definitely had a different Star Wars theme compared to the other shows and films. I can see how it wouldn’t attract to all Star Wars customers in the 1/6 scale space.

In saying that, this figure has a huge fan base in my opinion and they’re definitely taking their time with it. Hopefully it’s because they’re updating it a lot due to the backlash

Back then, HT had to prep for Guardians 2 so they gave up on R1 pretty quickly.

They still pull that **** today. No Drax or Adam Warlock from G3?

I wouldn’t be too sure of that mate. The CEO of Hot Toys, Howard has the same IQ of a loaf of bread. Same goes to Man Of Hot Air.

You never know. They dropped Rain out of nowhere and that was fairly quick. Most people didn’t even think that would make it to PO

Rain was fairly well received, went up for order with little to no changes to pair with the scorched Alien.

The idea of a Jungle Hunter got people to excited but what was actually shown left a lot to be desired, with people (me included) hoping it’s a place holder.

Reworking the body and proportions is no quick endeavour and the jungle hunter doesn’t need to be rushed out to pair with anything so hopefully hot toys gives the JH the time it deserves to get right.

If it goes up for order tomorrow I’m sure it will be just a repainted classic, so I’m happy to wait for this.

Has anyone seen anything about feral dropping? I know it was estimated at Q1 2025, Im hopeful around that drop time there will be something on the JH.

Just sold my modded Classic Predator and Dutch in anticipation of these releases. If HTs does not release the Jungle Hunter 2.0 I will burn to the ground their headquarters I might pass on Dutch since I have a lot of Arnies in my collection but the Predator design by Stan WInston was a work of art.

I am keeping the beans for the dreads and the custom masks in case HTs does not make him right

The longer the wait on this reveal/announcement the higher my expectations are getting that we will see a truly overhauled Jungle Hunter. The ugly ************ deserves it!

That's one thing I haven't been able to find much info about that I've always wondered - what the "Hunter" version of character had in his arsenal - like the solid projectile that hit blain or the wacky propeller gun he shoots in one of the reels. I *seem* to remember mention of a spear at some point.

Would absolutely love to have this look with the spear! May even get and old City Hunter spear just to have it in hand once this guy releases it he ever does come out

With ongoing trends AKA everything that isn't Marvel & DC & SW can wait, I doubt HT will give us a pictures of updated JH 2.0 anytime soon.
Or they'll just re-release good ol' Classic 2.0 with left arm pad & bone necklace & new mask plus overblown base and call it a day. Or at best, JC Hong himself may update the headsculpt by citing 1/1 Sideshow bust and that's it.

I don't have much faith in HT to do a proper accurate JH 2.0 on a new body.
I'm fully expecting a lazy "classic" reissue with extras and a crappy, not at all accurate mask, on an overly busy base.
Basically the prototype they were showing around previously.
I'd love them to do it justice, a proper new and improved from scratch body, accurate head sculpt and accurate mask but I think the temptation to do the minimum and just release the classic with new paint and skull trophies will be too much for them to resist.
I really hope I'm wrong.
