Exactly. Unlikely and ironic however since Weaver is a liberal and anti-firearms.

Did the old Ripley figure have a gun?
Yep, her full arsenal, but Sigourneys likeness wasn't allowed.
So is it the case of having:
Sigourney likeness but with no guns;
or
Non likeness but with guns?
I'd take it without the gun and get one of the ones floating around eBay
Could you really see HT selling it without a gun though.
Well when fighting Aliens...Exactly. Unlikely and ironic however since Weaver is a liberal and anti-firearms.
If HT's decides to redo their Alien lines I think half the board would go broke.
I don't see how Alien figures could be redone without using rubber, which means they would deteriate eventually.

Was it the rubber they used or does every type of rubber suffer from this problem?
Idk, I guess there prolly has been some advancements in rubber contruction since then, but I would never risk it. There's plenty of Alien statues to choose from.

They could. By going all-plastic you'd lose a lot of the range of motion that the existing HT aliens have but the damn things have joints so loose that they can't hold a pose anyway.
Forgot about that.Talking of statues, what happened to the SS Queen dio?
Sorry to go off track in the thread.
I wish they would try that.Yep, they could use the PVC rubber feel like the T800, Wolverine etc.. Bodies, it'd be a hell of alot better than worrying it it'll crack or fall apart.
