I would say no on getting the current HT Predators trio, and just wait for the new ones...but that's just me.

The Mr. Black figure has a lot of red paint missing on the scales (everyone seems to tolerate that for some reason, though), and when you (maybe just me) twist his upper body from side to side, paint gets scratched off on the waist/hip area.

Not acceptable to me, especially for the price of these things..but dozens of people on this forum have them and never complain about those issues. So maybe you won't care either. :lol

I never bought Falconer or Tracker, but I know there were things about them that turned me off..can't remember what exactly.

Some of us don't have those issues.:monkey1

Brand new in box!

My only issue with them are the inaccuracies...

Buy them!:lecture

If accuracy is an issue to you, stay away from past, present and (most likely) future Hot Toys Preds.

Having all three displayed together will be great. They sort of 'pop' together on the shelf. Just ask some of the guys round here who have all three.

After looking through every picture of the figure in the eight hundred page long thread, I don't think I saw one that didn't have atleast a little bit of missing paint on the scales that are supposed to be red.

Which is why I was surprised that no one really seemed to care.

Don't know what to tell you bro :yess:

The inaccuracies aren't that bad, barely noticeable unless you have a picture of the real ones next to the figures. I'm trying to get a response from my dealer if he can lower the price if I buy all three of them, then it will be a no-brainer. I think future figures from Hot Toys will have better resemblance, but these current predator figures will do and I don't want to wait a couple of years for new ones.

Exactly, of the photos I've seen they look great!

Then I guess you have nothing to say, bro! :yess:

The only MAJOR accuracy problem with them..is Mr. Black's head sculpt. It looks like a squished cherry tomato.

I think as time goes on, HT has been doing MUCH better with the bio masks. They're not perfect, but getting close to it. Especially the new Classic figure's bio. Keep that on him and he looks like a true P1.

Hold that thought and they will look even better in person. Tracker is my favourite.:yess:

Can't wait...!

LOL! But a question though, isn't the Berserker much taller than the Tracker and Falconer in the movie? How's the HT figures?

We're under the impression that he is the biggest of the three although we never saw them stand side by side in the film. In the behind the scenes pics he is taller but that's because the actors were short anyway. The figures are the same height.

Here the Berserker is taller:

Here they're all the same height:

The pic with Nimrod Antal is altered/photoshopped..can't trust it.

Mr. Black was SUPPOSED to be taller than Falconer and Tracker..but they couldn't achieve that because of the actors' heights.

So, in the movie he wasn't..but in reality, he would be. And in reality they'd all be like, another foot taller than Classic.
