I think that's mainly because it was dark though, and because the endo always looked dirty and had a battle damaged appearance.

Anyway, what I think you're after is something like this:

That's definitely what I believe to me a more accurate surface to it.

i think it is a good effort by hot toys but the things which are off about the figure just make it all the more annoying for example the collar bone pistons, the head shape being too narrow, the shoulder hoses being in the wrong position and the teeth being too big.

Its probably too much to ask for the perfect figure though because there is always things off about figures that people don't like and i don't think we'll ever get a perfect representation of the endoskeleton at this price range. The closest representation of the endo seen in the film is the cinemaquette endo imo.

You won't get the perfect endo at any pricepoint if company's don't care to use the actual movie endos as their referance. Otherwise there was no reason why this one couldn't have been 'perfect'. The scale is big enough, we're paying enough money.

Instead they just used as referance what they had to hand or perhaps what they were told to use and didn't bother questioning.

But heck if anyone wanted an endoskeleton based on a Sideshow piece I'm sure this is perfect as such.

Actually if one is doing the collar pistons correction it'd also be an opportunity to correct the hoses that connect to the shoulders - to come out in front of the collar rather than behind it as they are on the stock figure.

Good observation ! I was looking for a safe way to fix this, I might give it a try when I get the figure.
Hopefully Gigerfan did it.

Sorry, but not even close. )))
This one is still just a Cinemaquette parody.

For about the fifth of the price, I think it's a pretty good parody. :peace

Speaking of the hoses. The placement of them changes throughout the ending sequence.

@ :41 they lay like a-dev's photo.

@ 1:01 they lay really high and slightly wrap over the color bone section. You can even see it in the thumbnail to this video.

From what i've seen the hoose are just inserted in the chest holes so they can be removed as you like :)

A parody... Well you guys are harsh.
Yep HOT TOYS is a bit lazy for not doing its work properly.
But come on this is really some cool ****!

Just received my endo today I'm moving so packed him right up. Need to put him next to the sideshow endo to see how they compare. I love the movement of this guy and the details with the ankles and wrist are sick. The chrome is good but sideshows def has a better feel to it. Cold and much heavier.

This piece may have a few flaws but its pretty freakin awesome non the less, I'm not familar with the sideshow piece but It don't move right? The amazing engineering that has gone into this endo is well worth the price, theres more pros than cons here. Theres the fact that it moves in everyway the real one does down to the toes, the amazing chrome plating, the diecast metal and so on.

I'm really excited for this piece, mines in transit and should be here in a few days, can't wait!!!

All the hose,s are loose unconnected . U can pull them out, and position them were u want.from the chest piece.

And it deserves it. From all the poses they could choose, they went with this one. :slap The same with CM Vader. :thud:

I am doing my best to not take it personally. I love the pose. CM Vader, well, can't stand SW so it doesn't matter.
