Yeah, it does look much better like that. Much more like Stallone. The old hair had the volume but the front looked off, near the hairline. This is much more realistic and nice.

I'm just hoping that their development of a new body for Dutch means they've been at work on muscular bodies and will have a RAMBO/Rocky Balboa sized one for figures of Stallone in his older age, I think each line needs both. Rocky should have part 1 and 6 figures and Rambo line needs a part 4 figure.

All I can say is I WISH! I hope one day we will see a Rocky I Street Gear or maybe a Rocky I post fight. We need a post fight now! Rambo IV is a MUST though!
If they're going to do a post fight Rocky figure, it should be Rocky 2 with a body like Dutch with the jointed shoulders so you can have his arms over his head without fear of ruining the body, "Yo Adrian, I did it!"

Yeah definitely, so Hot Toys produced a new rubber body then? I noticed the Dutch figure but wasn't sure. You know with all the newer type bodies and what not I can see a Rambo IV forsure!
Ya, one picture, though it's small, shows Dutch to have a gap between his shoulder and arm, but his amdomen and arms have no visible joints, so it looks like they've made a body to cover the torso and arms but not connect at the shoulder to maximize poseability, as I find the shoulders are the limiting point in the muscular bodies, forearms bend enough. If they've put effort to make that body, it gives me hope that they've put effort to make a bulkier body for Stallone as Rambo and Rocky in their later years. Since you never see Rambo without a shirt, the body doesn't have to have the scars so Rocky and Rambo can share a body, only one mold for 2 figures. Another hopefull thing is, if Dutch is made so his coat can be removed, a RAMBO figure could include his bow and quiver along with his button down shirt he had on to sneak into the camp and we can get a more encompassing figure, which would be ideal of course.

It's all about the consistency of the production pieces and HT are unchallenged when it comes to that. I'm really,really looking forward to this one.

in case you didnt know, the same actor played rocky in both movies so the sculpts should look similar.
damn i want this guy. dont know if i can afford him know though. ive been meaning to get the other rocky figs for a while now but ever time im about to get them i spend the money on something else.

the neck doesnt look that bad IMO, especially in the last couple photos at the bottom of that page. it's a lot better than drago's neck. that thing was friggin' huge.
Yeah and drago's neck wasn't even that bad in person IMO. (pics made it worse)
