I'm just hoping the regular troopers don't sell out and go waitlist like the rest of them have been. BBTS orders are sold out and I may have to put a order in through Sideshow which I'll hate doing because of the deposit.

I'm sure HT made a lot less of these than the TFA troopers since they still can't get rid of them. They were probably being safe, but a little too safe it seems. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if these all come back up for pre-order. They are in the business of making money, and they're not gonna pass up guaranteed sales. I waited too cause I wanted to see in hand comparison photos of the RO trooper with ANH trooper & the Jedha Sandtrooper with the ANH Sandtrooper. Oh well. My fault if I missed out.

Went and ordered this one yesterday. .....wasn't until I got home from work and looked in here that I saw that it had sold out. ..not even a wait list. ..just gone.

Wow all the troopers except the newly designed ones are gone and wait listed. Damn I wanted to order a regular trooper once it came in stock. Insane I'm really glad I got the EX Jedha Patrol Version when I did because I would of hit myself if I didn't at least get one of them. Mine again will be here next Friday. Definitely looking forward to it.

really happy with this guy, getting used to the new helmet design, at first i thought it was too flat, now i'm liking it a bit more. still preffer the anh hot toys but i foolishly sold em off. still, very happy to have this guy in my collection and waiting for the tk jedha troopers set, and a clean trooper so i'll have a nice little 4 man squad.

I'm jut getting back into collecting star wars stuff so I'm very excited I am shocked by that too but it seems the RO Line may have very limited batches it seems. The other OG looking troopers are sold out also and haven't even been released yet.
In looking at the stormie helmets in RO, it seems they aren't as different looking onscreen to the OT versions as HT's sculpt made them out to be. The close-ups in RO - like in the prison transport for example - look like an okay match to the OT helmets, whereas the HT sculpt looks quite different to the OT onscreen sculpt.
In terms of matching the helmets seen onscreen, it seems like maybe HT missed the mark a bit on their RO stormie sculpt just like they did on their OT stormie sculpt.

Honestly Hot Toys ANH Troopers looked pretty good but not 100% These new RO look way better in my opinion and I see no problems with them.
It's not so much a problem to me - I'm getting winerackpack trooper and I also like HT's RO stormie sculpt more than their OT stormie sculpt - but there was endless discussion on here about how different the HT RO stormie helmets looked compared to the classic OT look. But then when I saw the movie, the RO helmets onscreen didn't look as different as I'd been expecting based on HT's RO sculpt.
