very happy with my trooper! not a big stormy fan really so when i ordered one to go with my RO vader i kinda regretted it but inhand regrets are gone. does look real in good poses. but jeeeebus workin with that shoulder artic is a challenge. thought i would be able to just raise arm up forwards since no armor is restricting it but sumthin def is lol. gotta kinda go out and work it up.

Here is the shelve of my only 2 troopers. ANH sandtrooper and R1 stormtrooper.

My Rogue One trooper squad so far. If I can find them I'd like to get 4 more to round out the squad

Low production numbers. They learned their lesson after heavily overproducing TFA troopers.

Personally I'm fine with HT moving back a little more towards figures actually being somewhat limited. The thrill of the hunt and all, as well as the idea of having figures that actually somewhat retain their value. That said, I will be surprised if they don't do a second run of all these stormtroopers.

They will most likely do a second run. And from now on I'm pretty sure Disney will use this type of RO armor in the upcoming OT era movies, so we'll get enough Stormies looking like this in the future. Han Solo movie being their first, I'm quite sure there will be Imperials and Stormies there

Nah, are you kidding? The armor will be slightly different in every movie, otherwise how will they be able to sell new and different toys each time!

I was thinking about this too, but could imagine the design would be somewhere between clone troopers and storm troopers. As the Han Solo movie will be set between 3 & 4 as far as I can recall. Or do we see the Stormtroopers in Ep 3 already ?? I can't remember.

Either way, Han Solo is set 10 years before ANH, so would definitely give toy makers the reason to create different styles of Stormtroopers for sure.

Although, to be honest I hope they don't flood the universe with so many different types. It'll be a mess in 10-15 years time with all the movies coming out.

Just got mine; I'll wait until daylight to take some photographs.

My overall impression is favourable and I feel about the 1/6 scale version much the way I do about the on-screen version.

It obviously calls back to ANH, in spite of the modernization. In my opinion, because this toy version's helmet lacks a couple of the more obvious flaws present in the ANH version, it strangely gives off a more OT vibe as it "feels" more accurate:

1. Smaller cheek tubes.

2.What appear to be better defined orbital ridges around the lenses.

3. Flatter profile (I've heard a lot of people complain about that, but I think most toys elongate the 'muzzle' of the helmet too much).

I love the organic asymmetry of OT armour; in addition to having had it burned into my brain as a child it's subsequently been woven into the fabric of pop-culture for decades, so I would never say it's inferior to the new version; but I was happy with what I saw onscreen, and feel that as a 1/6 toy-replica, this HT Rogue One version is ultimately more satisfying to me than the ANH release -- which I still think is great, but like most 1/6 have a few issues with. Referring here to the Stormtrooper, the Sandtrooper is a different animal and I do like that helmet a lot.

The MMS393 reminds me at times of a hybrid between Marmit and Medicom. It hits subtle poses nicely but does feel restricted, and I was surprised to see what look like attachment points between the shoulder bells and the upper torso armour.

The updated details (gloves, under-suit, design for greater mobility and comfort, attachment-point details) all sit well with me.

Too late. I think Shoretroopers and Tank Drivers were totally unnecessary, to be honest. Death Troopers...I could maybe forgive.
