That's lame, it's supposed to be a copy of the Ep IV design. I get the "cleaning up" of the armor, but now they're straight up eliminating pieces.

Managed to snag a decently priced New Hope Stormtrooper set off of Ebay. I do not like the look of these RO troopers at all.

Nice! I actually would like an ANH body with the RO helmet. I never liked the HT sculpt of the original.

Maybe its cause the holster could get wet in the water? take too long to dry off?

Either costume designers were really thinking about how the Empire would micromanage the troopers or it was just an inconvenience for the film crew

Pretty sure I read that they aren't removable.

Only the Jedha patrol trooper has the pack that isn't removable.

The 2-pack comes with an extra black pauldron that you can swap between the troopers, as well as the "wine rack" backpack.

Hey guys, I need some opinions here, as Im torn on what to go for. I cant decide if I want 2 of the clean stormtroopers next to vader or if I should go with the 2 pack. I love that sandtrooper lookalike in the 2 pack and it would look different rather then having 2 of the same troopers next to vader, but I've always liked the look of vader with the 2 clean troopers next to him. I can only fit 2 more troopers in my collection, as I dont want a bunch of troopers. I already have the death trooper and esb snowtrooper on pre-order. What would you guys go for?

Seeing how ANH HT Stormtroopers are going for lately, i'd settle for a RO two pack. You could also buy a couple individual RO stormtroopers in order to have them both clean and ready to flank Vader on your shelf.

Yeah, Both troopers have weathering with the 2 pack. The one with the orange pauldron has heavy weathering and the other one looks to just have light weathering from his waist down

I thought that the ANH version would drop in price, but it hasn't unfortunately. I like the look of the ANH armor and it has the holster, but I want the head off the R1. So unless the ANH price drops after the R1 release, I'll have to spend $300+ for the figure and another $80 for the head, what a joke. Maybe I'll wait for the ESB version.

I wonder why these guys did'nt have holsters for their blasters, even in the movie the holsters were missing. Whats up with that?

Just as well that Rogue One didn't lead right up to Star Wars, but stopped short. It gives all the troopers time to change into their new armour. I was concerned that RO troopers would arrive at the Tantive IV, and step through as SW troopers after performing a David Copperfield routine.

I only picked up one ANH Trooper, and thought that'd be enough, but if I can find single RO Troopers after release or closer to it, then I may pick up one more. While it'd be cool to have squads of these guys, I just don't have the space or scratch for that.

A bit OT, but my old Medicom Trooper was pretty good for posing compared to these HT ones. I could get the Medicom into some fairly dynamic shooting poses.
