Has the emperor’s looks aged since the rots?

A few more pronounced bumps on the forehead and a few more wrinkles.

Not too much difference there. I suppose I can pick the Rotj ver if I decide to get him for the sith club.

The design of Palpatine's face for ROTJ was much less symetrical. Whether on purpose or a result of the prosthetics at the time, who knows, but we also know when production got to ROTS, they were bent on making everything symetrical, including Vader's helmet, so I wouldn't be shocked if they were like, screw trying to match ROTJ, let's take the basic look and make it perfect.

It looks like they did try to de-age him a bit in ROTS, since he's missing a lot of those small wrinkles you see around the chin.

Their not, but alot have said he has a good shelf presence standing with the cane. The throne can still serve as an awesome background piece, but hey, it is a fairly expensive accessory

Had given up on my local shop to stock Palpy before spring but got a surprise "in stock" notification in the mail today. He's not gonna make it for X-mas but will definitely be on the shelf before year's end

Still very excited to finally have a chance at futzing the Emperor and give those Royal Guard a real purpose as well.

Thanks! He’s definitely not a perfect figure by any means, but he does look incredible in the shelf. HT managed to capture his personality perfectly imo.

Slowly get my set set up.

Took me long enough to take this guy out of his box. I like the chair a lot, and it makes for the best accessory HT have given for any of their SW figures.
Later, I’ll open the guards and see what I can do with them. Decided tho, that Vader will join the trio.

I think this would intentionally be batch 3. Batch 1 was early November, and batch 2 went out early December.
