Ok, I guess I'll get mine notice here soon then. I wish they would let us pay off the final payment and then pay for the shipping when it releases. If it gets pushed back much further, it will start to interfere with my next collectible I have on flex payment

Well, you could just set aside the money and not spend it on anything else until then.

Or, you could use the SS “Payment option” for “Pay remaining balance” to make the final payment now. They’ll charge you your last payment minus shipping and tax.

I just used that option to pay off my Dewie. They charged the usual monthly payment but not the shipping or tax. See the pop up I got when I hit that “Pay remaining balance” tab if you don’t believe me.

I am seriously considering cancelling this pre-order. I absolutely love the Sandtrooper/Dewback combination, but this thing is going to take up so much space. Space that I don't even have...

What to do, what to do...
Me too. I’m going to wait for final product pics. I want it but it’s going to be such a space killer. If I love the in hand videos I’ll keep it. Otherwise, adios. I can get my nrd back because it’s so overdue. Mine is paid off too, so I can get a refund. This might be another major discount set because of the heavy price tag. Decisions…

I think they’ll do really good on this one.

I was seriously considering canceling my AT-RT set, but now I’m so glad I didn’t. I understand a creature is a bit different, but it’ll work out good.

Hopefully HT learned with the terrible paint apps and QC on the Blurrg creature. That looked like a $20 rotocast from Kmart with its overall shiny plasticky look, simplistic paint and mold seam lines.

That's weird. When I called their customer service and spoke to a representative, she told me I couldn't do that. I guess either she had no clue or lied to me.

Well they did cover their ass by saying Dec 2024 end date. They give themselves 6 month windows now.
I always go by the end date with their range. It keeps me from being disappointed (and tends to be the more realistic date anyway).

I am assuming they are working out some production/packaging/QC issues, and if that is the case, I would rather them take the extra time.

Yeah here's hoping. It's already going to be hard finding space for this thing, but if it ends up looking like a plastic toy that'll be even more painful.

Is HT getting better with their product in general... or is the volume of output showing signs of being spread too thin?

I hear lots of complaints about Mace Windu but great things about ROTJ Vader... are there more figures being delivered with improvements or less?

Not so much about the helmet QC, or the cape, or the electrics, or the inaccurate boots, or the fact they did yet another pleather jumpsuit when nylon was available and ships in four months with Dark Empire Luke (similar to how HT used the old Luke sculpt for Snowspeeder Luke when the new Mando sculpt was available.)

So ROTJ Vader is in the failure column too?
I dunno, it's 100% about the helmet sculpt, which I loved initially but once I've gotten used to it, it's still feels a little off (even if less so than previous HT Vader attempts.)

I am really enjoying the DS platform base (one of the best environment/display base pieces HT has ever done) and the lightning helmet, so there's that. And the glove sculpts are superb.
