Why not include one for a $700 piece??? That’s hot toys.
I understand what you are saying but personally I don't need a base. I don't need anything to make it even higher than it already is. And if I ever want a Tatooine base, then I might use some real Tunisia sand I got when I visited the movie sets there in 2008 :)

A monster piece.
Yet HT's height is 1 1/2" shorter than the SSC Dewback (though its longer by 1 1/2".)

This HT Dewback is actually slightly smaller overall than I initially thought it'd be based on early pics, certainly height-wise.

In looking at the video, really not a fan of the swap-out "dead-straight" front leg though, looks a bit weird versus the more natural looking bent leg. Maybe it'll be like that goofy "giant tongue" SSC Jabba V.2 swap-out mouth piece - never left the box.

How thick is the Sideshow base though? That’s included in their measurements.
Yeah forgot that - but so interested to see the two Dewbacks side by side because the SSC version has a slightly crouched posture vs the HT's pose.

Can't believe the radio silence on this release - one video and nothing more? Kind of weird.

I don’t have space for the Dewback, but the figure arrived today, and it is super impressive in hand. It has significantly more weathering than the original sandtrooper release too. Here are some quick pics.

Thanks for posting!
Do you happen to be able to do a side by side with the original release?
Awesome trooper. I waited years for this after it was originally shown. Thanks for the pics.
Same here, he was my most anticipated figure for years. I'm so glad they got around to him in the end.

This should finally give me the motivation back to finish my Mos Eisley diorama.
