Wow paramoremcr88!!!!!! You are making it really hard not to get this!

The only spot I have left is on a very high shelf (about 6 1/2 feet up), and I am just not sure I would appreciate it at the angle. I put a regular Stormtrooper up there and it didn't look great, but maybe the more decked out Sandtrooper would look better. Anyone have any pics from an angle like that?

Beautiful pics Para!

Don't be too sure of that. I used superglue on mine, and even when resting on the shoulder, it's pulling hard and stretching the glue. The spare shoulder pouch is selling well on Ebay, which is rather telling...and very disappointing from Hot Toys. :(

Mine snapped almost 2 months ago and I should clarify with the type of superglue I used the gel. It has help up fine and it will stretch to touch right now. Worked for me so maybe the gel works best.

Why is it OK to spend $230 on a figure and have to "fix" things?

Cause ham hands and user error is contagious? :rotfl

Finally opened mine and 3 pieces are going to have to be super glued back on which isn't a big deal but on his orange pauldron there's a circle that looks like someone set a 1/6 sized cup of coffee on it and i can't get it to come off. sigh.

Love the figure. Didn't have too much trouble with getting his stuff on but I took my time so maybe that helped. I feel better now that I finally have this one and didn't procrastinate getting him and then have to get him in the secondary market.

I plan to get Vader soon and from that thread that one could be tough to work on....and I have to try out the lights and voice so I'll torture myself and try and get those batteries in.

Most of the SW bases are wobbly so I did this to mine...although it isn't an option with the Sandtrooper (I don't think). Mine should arrive on Wednesday.

Didn't know the others were mostly wobbly. This is my first HT 1/6 but I plan to get a few others soon but my Sandtrooper's base is really solid. I really like the look of the HT OT bases.
