If they redo Scar, it should be along the lines of the Cleaner Kit Wolf - different but not indisputably better.

I'd love to see a proper 'final battle' Scar, with a roaring headsculpt. Have a bloodied torso and claw-damaged armour, maybe a Predalien chestburster accessory and scenic ice base, but leave out the bio-helmet and shoulder cannon.

That way, you get something that's different enough that the original Scar is not devalued, and also worth getting if you've got one of the two previous versions.

Of course, all those that forked out $500+ for their Ani-Com Scars would be sick as parrots, but that's a small enough number not to worry about .

i think u hit the nail on the head there. after p1 there gonna be stuck for ideas so this is not beyond the realms of possibility. HT and there re-hash skills will be all over this one. but yeah it would suck for the originals but with new style dreds etc it wouldnt devalue them too much

My thoughts on a new Scar is...bring 'em on! Particularly, if they incorporate the improvements they have used on the newer Preds. Do 'em all...Chopper, Celtic,Elder and the Ancients!

As far as them devaluing the originals...it wouldn't. If anything it would drive the value up. Now, I'm sure some of you will say "look at the Takara Batman" as a template to what would happen. That is completely different. That was a reissue of the same exact figure...this wouldn't be.

No re issue or re release is going to devalue the Ani-com...the only thing that can do it is the economy, which it has.

Ouch people paid that much for the Ani-com Scar
I paid $200(delivered) for mine but that was like 18 months ago.

I say NO to any re-release of any AVP Predators
