I wanted some height variation between my snowies so i swapped out one of the stock bodies for a narrow shoulder true type...which adds around 1/4 inch to the height...
Again removing the leg padding is easy and i think improves the overall look of the figure...also the codpiece sits way too low on the stock figure...causing the illusion of stubby legs...remove it and then realign it further up...

Looks good, matrix. I think you found a good body. I did something similar trying to use a shorter body (I think it was the Boba Fett body), but the change was too minimal so I tried a shorter neck peg but then the head was too scrunched to the chest armor.

Ah ok. I know it’s a real tricky process from other comments about making recasts on this forum. Solo bones is in the process of making some casts of more accurate 1/6 ANH Stormtrooper buckets. I’ll maybe see if he’d be interested taking this on as his next challenge!

Great idea on Solo - PM him. He has a lot of casting tools now.

I have the stencil for the Snowtrooper soft cowl - not that difficult to cut out.

Looks good. The stock fig just feels a little short to me - maybe 11 3/4" or so. I think the issues are beyond the codpiece riding low though - in a neutral pose, the arms seem too long and the legs too short in terms of the overall body proportions. I'm going to try some ankle extenders.

I get often bored, hard up, or OCD about a stuffed closet with figure boxes...but man I have to admit, The Snowtrooper is one figure Id never let go of from my collection.

Took this guy out into the elements a few weeks back.

Cool change there! I like the different heights

I can’t remember any scene with the Snowtroopers besides the few seconds they were shooting at the Falcon. Did they get any other screen time?

I can't believe EB Games in Australia had these at half price on eBay end of last year. Fantastic figure.

Yeah if you're in the market for a particular fig, you really have to constantly scour the internet (and LCS shops.) I paid less for my second HT Snowie than I paid for my SSC Snowie 5-6 years ago (which was US$140.)

You see the commander in the walker with Veers. Then you see them running through Echo Base with Vader. Then finally shooting at the Falcon in the hanger.

*Fun Fact: When they're running through the door of the base, a few of the troopers and Vader tripped and fell on each other. Apparently they couldn't see.

Yes... I know everybody else has posted pics of their in the snow but it's the first I've had that's stuck so he was going out in it.
