Gross. I generally pay between $19USD and $30USD for shipping from China or Japan to Canada. You're paying $19USD for 15 miles?

I agree. The shipping fee Sideshow charges is ridiculous. BBTS now offers $4.00 flat rate shipping and they also allow you to combine items for shipping. Plus they don't do the annoying "Signature Required" unless you specify it. This wouldn't be such a pain in the a** if my request to UPS to allow drop offs wasn't overridden by SS required signature.

Yeah, unless you can order with a $20 coupon to basically get free shipping then it's almost not worth ordering from Sideshow anymore now that BBTS has that $4 rate.

Agreed. Another plus is that I believe BBTS is based out of Michigan and I usually get my package a day or two earlier than from SS.

Just about all but 2 of my current preorders are through BBTS.

So all those $20 off coupons are really worth nothing and are some sort of reverse psychology marketing scam on their customers.

I ordered both a two pack and single.

Shipping for two pack: $12.35

Shipping for single: $19.68

Their website once quoted me $30 to ship R5-J2. If you own a Sideshow astromech, you know how small those boxes are.

I own all their other astromech and was charged much less so I contacted them.

They said that was an error on their shipping calculator which would be fixed and that I should place an order normally because it'd be less than that once processed.

So how much did I end up getting charged for shipping? $30. For a tiny box.

I was not happy. I complained. They apologized. Credited $20 to another order I had instead of a refund which was odd but I accepted.

Sideshow shipping is strange.

Got my single a few days ago. Jus gotta say that this version blows Sideshow's out of the water! I even modified my 2 Sideshow Snowtroopers with Hot Toys True Types and I still think Hot Toys' comes out on top. The only thing I did was get rid of the padded under suit to make the pants wrinkle and crease naturally.

The rifle is a DLT-20A. IG-88 is holding one in Empire. It's a common rifle used in a lot of games and often depicted or referenced in other works as well.

You are correct; the rocket launcher is exclusively from Battlefront. Though it is technically canon since everything not story and hero related from that game is canon.

You can have them ship FedEx still, I have a personal issue with my UPS driver so I have them only ship FedEx. For my Snowtrooper 2-pack I'm paying 20.91 to ship to NYC.
