The ssc versions arent that bad at all. The only thing I think brings them down are the eyepiece on the mask. Looks like a lack of sleep baggy eye syndrome going on. Seems like I remember somebody redid the ssc mask & it looked a lot better.

The ground is just a piece of felt, which I smoothed out roughly. The rest is just lighting

This really shows how improved the HT is. The SS helmet is horrible imo... The other things aren't as obvious but I remember many of us not being happy with the SS snowie, I'm glad HT delivered. BUT at least SS had flat stands....

Just a quick in on those who want to heat up the stand, I doubt it's gonna work. If these stands are the same as any of the deluxe ones, they're that hard, ABS or similar plastic that you'll never heat evenly enough to meld it. The top though is probably rubbery, but that won't do you much good as far as the frame being bent.

Has anyone tried to remove creases and such out of the facemask? I know the creases are movie accurate - but I'd really like to know if someone has tried removing there's via an iron or hair dryer. It's a delicate situation and I'm not sure how to approach it without possibly damaging the material.
