Apologies if the deviation is offending some, so I'll put the detail in spoilers.
Finished painting Qi'ra today. It was a bit of an experiment as I've never painted a 1/6 sculpt before.
As I wrote before, Qi'ra's S-195 turned out to be surprisingly accurate for such a cheap toy:

I started repainting Qi'ra's face yesterday.
Wasn't happy with the first result as the paint wasn't applying smoothly, so I stripped it off. I was expecting it to come back to Hasbro's pink flesh, but instead it uncovered a tanned skin colour that wasn't as shiny as Hasbro's flesh paint. Painting on this was easier.
One obstacle to overcome was straightening up Hasbro's wonky eyes.
On my first try I wasted a lot of time building up layers of shade. For the second go I kept it simple:
1) Coat d'arms Suntanned Flesh base coat
2) Coat d'arms Suntanned Flesh mixed with Games Workshop Pallid Flesh as a second coat
3) Suntanned Flesh for shading
4) Pallid Flesh for highlighting
She's not brilliant, nor did I expect her to be, but she'll work for what I want.
It's a lot easier painting wargames miniatures!
Today I painted everything else, apart from the flesh body parts which I thought would match the sculpt well enough.
There's a good resource for costume images https://501stunderworld.com/forums/index.php?/topic/93-qira-corellia-white-worm-gang-crl-discussion/]here[/url].
Deciding on the jacket colour was tricky from those costume display shots, so I went for something like this:
I'd been wanting to cover the leg joints, and suddenly an idea struck me: electrical tape. Instant leather and no more gaps.
