Everyone I've talked to here and elsewhere seems to think it's a temp date, he might be coming THIS summer.

Well, this summer ends in 12 days, so you may be talking to the wrong people. Did you mean NEXT summer (2020)? That's slightly more realistic. Even if you're in the southern hemisphere, I think this summer (Dec 2019 through Feb 2020) is highly unlikely.

But seriously its impossible even for next summer. But I hope I'm wrong. But have a feeling that fishbowl thingy is quite hard for them to manufacture quickly.

Was the situation the same with killmonger? Please fill me in. I figured this coming summer was realistic considering it's a year away already.

Killmonger was scheduled to be released June-July 2019 but last November or so, there were a lot of people talking that killmonger is going to be released in December or Jan... About a year after it's announcement.
It's September and feels like Killmonger will take a while before it's released.
The release date that hot toys put are usually accurate. But there were times some figures are released earlier and some released later. But usually it's around what they put out. I'm sure they are calculating manufacturing time and date and schedule, with endgame figures, the lineup is pretty big, so I think we'll see mysterio sometime in q4 2021 but maybe we'll see it a bit earlier like q3. Well technically its around summer 2021 already lol.

It's a year out from killmonger's announcement, which seems reasonable. I don't see how 2 years could be accurate, I don't think hottoys ever made anybody wait this long for anybody before.

Isnt the spidey upgraded suit and night monkey 2021?

I also doubt they are doing a jake headsculpt for this. If they were, it would have a blurred picture included.

I would much rather see them fix that seam on the fishbowl than produce a head sculpt that will just sit in the box never to be displayed.

Regarding that announcement, has anyone ever seen in the past Hot Toys make such a big change like adding a new head sculpt after the reveal?

If it is a head sculpt, do you guys think they will change the price and ask for more?

The price won?t change.

I would love for it to be a JG headsculpt.

I'm not really thrilled about the idea of having to go 3rd party/custom route for something I feel should always be included with releases like this at this cost. But I will if I have to, since I use the unmasked/unhelmeted sculpts on all my figures.
