Yeah I have to agree the neck looks pretty awful. I never had a problem with the previous Holland Spideys with the fully suited neck, and would much prefer that to what they're attempting here.

I’m not gonna use the unmasked head sculpts so for me these figures are duds. That neck along with the material choices has just turned me way off of these otherwise grail pieces.

This will probably release like minimum 2 years later so maybe something will change, HT does seem to be listening to complaints for other figures. Personally I've waited too long for this so I can't skip it either way and it'll still be better than third-party versions lol. I agree a version without a removable head would be really cool.

The neck issue should be a simple fix. All they have to do is create a neck sleeve similar to the leg sleeve with the sock on the spiderverse Miles. Have the spider suit fabric at the bottom of the sleeve.

Completely agree on the 2 pack suggestion, or even just offer 2 versions of the single figure: one with sculpt and one seamless.

I can't believe people were complaining about a wrinkle on the neck of classic Spiderman, but you're gonna accept this ugly joint right across the fabric of one of the most elegant suits ever put on film.

I would much prefer the neck part stay on the costume and the head be separate. I really don't give a damn if we see the skin of his neck with the mask off. If this is the alternative, basically ruining the look of the whole figure, for that one gimmick? No, its not worth it.

It looks like he's wearing a turtleneck underneath the suit. Like a frog with a throat sack. It looks like a bee stung him and he's got an inflamed thyroid.

What they ought to do is Make this a DX and just give us 2 separate figures. One perfect seamless fully enclosed suit with no visible joints and one without the mask where the suit stops right at the collar. Back when HT had standards, we got DX07 Luke because they understood you can't put battle damage on the clean Bespin outfit. They have to be 2 separate outfits. So for the sake accuracy, thats what we got. Because HT refused to compromise. They need to go back to that mindset.

100% agree with this. If I were to get these, I'd probably display the three in museum poses standing holding their masks, so the head sculpt is important to me but not at the expense of ever being able to display it masked. There are so many viable solutions to solving this and I definitely agree, that I'd rather have the suit extend up through the neck and have the head separate. Not accurate, but would also look way better masked. I am going from spending a grand on 3 Spidey's to maybe buying none. Will definitely be waiting for these to release to decide.

Yeah it's such a glaring issue that I'll be very surprised if they don't fix it for the final product. And that could also be why they've been holding off on putting up any official pics.

i have the first one, they can release this 10 years from now and I'll be fine. I would only get this if its a homerun. Same goes for garfield spiderman (lasagna!).

And there he is! Great looking sculpt imo and of course Sandman as the base is as expected. The figure looks damn good.

This and Garfield are bought for sure.

And...finally! Looks pretty good. I don't think the neck issue will stop many. Sculpt looks pretty good. That Sandman base is incredibly better looking than the Lizard one. HK price is 2880. That's $367 USD. If Sideshow tax is 25%, that's $90 added on. Oof.

Regular price is 1890 or $240, looking like $300 with SS tax. Sculpt bumps it to $300.

Wow that Tobey sculpt was definitely worth the wait, as they knocked it out of the park. And the whole figure looks incredible.

Not really feeling the deluxe Sandman base though, especially with the giant face that looks nothing like the actor.
