My only complaint are . He’s at a high school /program for gifted science students again. I really hate that tbh. I know Peter is smart but he had to climb his way up to the top and was never handed anything.

If he was handed anything it would fall flat. What’s up with marvel giving Spider-Man a mentor? Stop. He doesn’t need one. What makes Spider-Man great is he had to find out stuff on his own with minimal help.

Other than that it’s a solid show. Just got that mcu synergy unfortunately

Only thing I could supremely fault it for is: why an animated Spider-Man (again) when you could have an animated series for any other Marvel character and have that instead?
Spider-Man sells soooooo many toys. No other hero has merch like him. He’s also the face of marvel. But you are right. We need more marvel shows and not Disney plus stuff. Animated shows like this one.

I'd love to see a Dr Strange animated show after his apperance in the first episode. Something about this show's art style and how they animated him looked really good IMO.

There were old ant man shorts on Disney xd that were styled almost amazing. It was wasted on ant man but the art work was damn near perfection

Again it’s wasted on mcu synergy antman and it’s a bit choppy but if made into a Spider-Man or daredevil show it would be amazing

That was the 60s though. Today most kids especially in cities, who are gifted like Peter is get noticed and moved to classes or schools that help them with whatever they are talented in. So it makes sense he'd be placed where he is.

As for the mentorship,
That was a ploy to find Spiderman by Norman. And given we all know who Norman is and will become this "gift" of a mentor Peter was handed will blow up in his face

Yes I know but still. There are ways where he doesn’t go to a gifted school. The ps4 version of Spider-Man is a genius but struggles with bills and such

Just because you go to a gifted school doesn't mean you won't struggle with bills and such. It's not like the school pays him money.

Episode 9 was great. I love Spidey and Tombstone being friends. They had a team up in the Spider-Man 2 game too, and it was definitely one of the more interesting parts for me.

Interesting to see the effects that Normans mentorship had on Peter (almost killing Scorpion).

Finale was good, it’s definitely setting the stage for the future. Lot of interesting ways they can go with it.

Glad I gave the show a chance.

Ya know I'm glad I did to. Disney Surprised me yet again. Xmen 97 and now this. I thought they were gonna churn out kiddie mcu synergy crap but the animated stories are so mature and this series is actually the most mature the franchise has been in a very long time. Glad whoever is in charge of disney animation wants to make mature content and not kiddie crap to sell toys and the mcu like they did in the 2010s.
