I love the love for these films being exuded here, warms my heart, keeps it all alive.
I thought I'd share some additional photos I captured impromptu late last year as I was rehoming Tobey into some new Detolfs. I need to get a better camera/ phone, I might get a good DSLR, I miss having one. And then a new ring light, perhaps and diffuser/ make a diffuser. I'm using my S10 to capture my figures and it struggles to keep up with many other amazing figure photos I see and to do a lot of these amazing figures justice, especially with the level of detail and fidelity figures have from what artists are putting into them these days. It's a bit like anything that has, or needs synergy to be at its best, like how tech pushes film and game mediums forward. So, yeah, these photos don't truly do this figure justice.
Still, he looks really amazing (ahem) out from his diorama and enclosed shelf! I wish I could display some of my figures like this but I just won't for the obvious reasons. I like trying dios out and have a few more elaborate and larger ones now but still love and even maybe prefer a simple, minimalist and clinical figure on a stand, or small base-dio.
I hope everyone here can end up with a Spidey that they are happy with.
P.S. is anyone here rocking a Darkman figure? My brother and I always thought Darkman was like Raimi's prototype Spidey. At least, a lot of its DNA was brought forward into Spiderman for sure. Still love Darkman.
