Would imagine 3 hottoys trooper stands side by side on some sort of riser would work great in a detolf behind Vader, there's not really any space for vader to stand on anything in a detolf

He does just fit on one of the HT stands, but his head is so close to the next shelf he doesn't look that great unless he's on a higher up shelf. I have him on one of the older, small circular SS stands.

Any pics out there if a type of riser I could use?

I think Vader would Force-choke the black-suited trooper, like a bride seeing someone else wearing a white dress at her wedding. ;)

Can you say where you're going? Or is it just work/life getting busy?

Just work/life I'm afraid. Funds for this hobby are much more limited now as they have to be put into other things. I have started to have a few photography commissions come in so that's good.

I wish my life and work would pick up so I don't have to mingle with you bastards.

Whenever you're able to contribute is much and always appreciated, Para. But does the discussion have to correlate with a Freaks collecting budget? I get just as much enjoyment reading about a board member's reasons for not picking up a new release as their reasons for. Also, even if another figure were never to be produced again from here on out, would we not have enough figures in our collections already to photograph in endless combinations and scenarios or customize in ways limited only by our imaginations?

That's a good point, PJB.

Paramore, your contributions (both words and pictures!) to the forum would be greatly missed if you are to back off. I too have cut down my spending for these figures considerably for the past several years to the point where I'm only getting an average of maybe 3 per year. Last year I only got one (the probe droid)! But I still thoroughly enjoy reading everyone's posts and seeing everyone's photos, even if it's for figures and pieces that I may not have ever wanted. I still try to contribute to conversations as I still enjoy keeping up with new announcement and releases.

Just something to think about.

What is that spot on the left bicep piece?

Flesh eating disease.

It's a mark that's also featured on the prop. Some people think it was a mould/casting mistake, I think it was probably done on purpose to know which piece goes on the left arm. I wish it wasn't there on the figure.
