I saw one of these great pieces in my local gaming shop the other day.

****ing brilliant work HT.

I wasn't planning on getting one of these. Simply a matter of room space available.

But I saw one of these up close in a shop in Paris (Album) and I cannot restrain myself from buying. The shininess, the lycra protecting the body, the realistic posability and proportions of the body and helmet... they got me.

First order I make directly to Sideshow.

The figure was again on "pre-order" and I did. Now my order says "processing". Any ideas how long it could take to ship?

Work has been totally crazy so haven't really had the time to enjoy the Stormtrooper two pack. But had a closer look yesterday and damn these troopers are impressive! Can't wait to get more of the Hot Toys Star Wars figures this year!

Yeah they really are impressive! I'm thinking about a second 2-pack. But will probably save space for the Sandtroopers.

I got my 2-pack yesterday. Haven't had much time to play around with them, yet (only the tall one so far), but out of the box he's already great. I'll take some shots over the weekend.

They are here again!

Much better than the last. Some very small issues with the short one but nothing major. Sorry for crappy pictures!

The first is this small "dent" on the chest plate, it actually kinda looks like battle damage:

And there is a bit of raised paint on the helmet around the nose area:

But I'm happy, cant wait to have more time with them this weekend

ANH and ESB essentially the same helmets (grey mouth vs black mouth, few other minor differences) but ROTJ are recasts that got a bit warped so appear quite different.

ROTJ ones look stupid now that I know about the warping. I never noticed it until a couple years ago, but I think I always had the sense that they were less menacing looking.

Upon reviewing the difference's more, I actually prefer ANH ones. Unless HT does something really amazing, I can't see myself buying ESB/ROTJ if they're released.........for now.

Some yes. But dont have the patience for another return, even if I can get a replacement since they are out of stock. And its only visible (to me anyway I'm sure experts can see it a mile of) close up.

Man I want to have some proper time to pose and photograph these cool figures. Cant wait for sunday morning when I'm home alone and free from work
