Han will be a day 1 order for me. If the other options dry up quickly and secondary market prices increase, not only will people be wanting him to go with Luke, it will be the last opportunity for anybody wanting the first movie look to get a "Stormtrooper" at likely just $20 over original release price. They could unload the Han head, and actually net it cheaper than the single. I think he might sell out pretty quick, not for the Han, but for the disguise.

I went the Spacetrooper route. He'll display as Stormtrooper #2, but I'll keep the Spacetrooper gear for giggles. Depending on my mood, Luke and eventual Han could make for a cool 4 troop display w/ 3 tall and 1 short. Can't wait. I am really digging this figure.

My WL just converted for the SS EX on the two pack. Anyone else?

Not yet, but I got in very early, so loving your news. I went ahead and got a standard two pack, but I'd love to still get the ex conversion.

I jumped on the WL April 12, 2015 for those waiting as well. Conversion came through Friday (as they always seem to do).

Didn't realize these will become sold out so fast... My friend will have to move fast if wanting a HT TK in his collection

I had a feeling they would. Pick them up now on eBay if they aren't too expensive. I agree that in a matter of a few months the price on these will shoot through the roof. Even the disguise Stormies will need modding to get them to look right. So far, it seems like the "interchangeable" head won't fit over the Luke or eventual Han head sculpts.

The disguise figures look like they'll need brand new helmet heads. Those are $70 on eBay. But you can sell the face sculpt and detailed helmets for at least that, so it could work. Don't forget 13-15% commission to eBay/PayPal.

The Sandtrooper, IMO is a waste of time - might as well pay eBay prices for a regular Stormtrooper. They're just not the same figure and there's enough weathering that will be impossible to clean up.

Spacetrooper is a good bet and you get a few extras. At the very worst, if the extras leave behind attachment points, you can replace the chest armor and you have a perfect regular trooper.

When the HT Luke in Stormie disguise is released and if anyone wants to sell the detailed helmet PM me.

I've 10 of these guys and 4 shadow. I'm still planning on picking up at least two more. Need some ht royal guards eventually.

Now I have a hankering for a chunk of cheese...

Fickle and untrustworthy ***** that I am, I actually sold all my stormies save some parts held back for kit-bashes and customs.

It was a convoluted decision. I decided against Hot Toys Vader which had been part of my original trooper display plans....and was digging on Sandtroopers that much more, so in the end, I avoided the Dark Future where 1/6 Star Wars took over my collection and my space.

I ate it on one auction but did okay on the other sales.

1/6 Star Wars is a very dangerous property. Only my obsession with a minimalist reference collection saved me. ;)

Well that...and Hot Toys not knocking every release out of the park. Had they all been just *that much* better I may have gone the other way and bought 'em all.

I never believed in the quality of the HT stormtroopers, until I unpacked mine. I have to admit that this figure is the ultimate 1/6 scale masterpiece. I cannot find anything which I dislike. Order it while you can !!!
