I like how the BBTS cart page says this:

"Please note, for quantities greater than 24 please contact Customer Service"

when you try to add a few hundred to your cart to test their inventory. I suppose that means this exercise is meaningless.

My Dewback is currently up on a high shelf, but I'm adding a new custom cabinet to bring the two big displays, Hoth and Tatooine, down closer to eye level. I've now figured out how to display every SW figure I want from what's been announced as well as a select few in the future which haven't yet been announced (mainly a few Sandtroopers). If someone announces a Landspeeder I'll be set, because there's already a shelf in the new cabinet reserved for that too.

Stormtroopers will be going up high where I currently have my Hoth display, in a Tantive IV hallway along with Leia - thankfully the shelf is large as it's going to have to fit one more trooper than I had originally planned.

I think I'm at a happy medium between ZE and people who collect everything.

I've been considering getting 2 more stormies and have 4 flanking my eventual Vader but I'm worried it will make the shelf look crowded. 3 figures with Vader infront would be perfect but three Stormtroopers just seem wrong in my mind. Two and Vader in the middle might be the way too go.

I never believed in the quality of the HT stormtroopers, until I unpacked mine. I have to admit that this figure is the ultimate 1/6 scale masterpiece. I cannot find anything which I dislike. Order it while you can !!!

You are definitely right. After HT has completed the OT and switches towards TFA, I will think about it ...

It's been like that for a while now. They started doing that way shortly after people started discussing "testing their inventory" on this fourm.

I'm a huge Stormtrtooper fan but I only needed 3 HT Stormies (1 single and a pair), a Sandie and Spacetrooper on pre-order. No blackhole TK for me.

Yeah, I've never tried or heard of them, just did a google search and they came up as one of the few or only places that still have the single stormtrooper at retail. The fact that they don't have actual quantities is a bit annoying as it makes me wonder whether they even have 1 of the item. Tried emailing but haven't heard back yet (they're on the West coast, so maybe later today).

It's too bad, I used to get all my resin garage kits from them in the 90's. Long ass drive but their shop was fun back then. They were close to Disneyland.

I finally ordered the single Stormtrooper. Thanks to a tip from Deathstalker, I managed to get the last one from Midtown Comics with a 20% discount for ordering thru their app.

I was horribly tempted by the 2-pack -- love the short trooper -- but I couldn't pass up the chance of getting a single trooper for that price.

Just download the app and place your first order thru it and you get 20% off -- I think off one single item, not multiple items in one order (but you could call and ask about that). It won't show until you complete your order.

I actually tried to order last Thursday but didn't see the 20% discount on my order and had to wait until Friday to speak to someone, who explained that the discount will show upon completion of order -- or call them if there's a problem. They seemed pretty helpful and were easy to reach.

I wonder if you're getting the one I saw on display on Saturday or if they keep separate inventory for their shops. Looked like it was in good shape at least.
