It's a bit surprising to me that Hot Toys doesn't just continue making Storm Troopers. They appeared in all three films and Hot Toys is still doing Original Trilogy characters so I'd think it'd be easy to keep reissuing them especially since they seem to have sold decently.

If they continued to pump them out it would make them less desirable as a collectible. They would also have to find time in their production schedule to continue to make them which would most likely delay other figures. I'm happy with Hot Toys producing a figure and then moving on.

Meh they're Storm Troopers though. They're desirable mostly because people like to army build them not because they're so unique. The variants make more sense to limit than the normal versions if you ask me. I think if they kept making normal Storm Troopers they'd keep selling.

People will buy them.

Nonsense. Things like this can and do get mass produced in short periods of time.

Well clearly they should have let the pipe on the single trooper flow a bit longer. Especially with the delay in getting Han and Chewie out the door. Basically they should have had it work where they sold out right when the Luke stormtrooper and space troopers became available.
Something along these lines:

I recently bought another single Stormtrooper and I noticed this one wasn't as white as my other one. Seller says it wasn't displayed in sunlight nor was it was smoking home. Any of you guys experience this?

Meanwhile Jay Pesoz is sniffing and touching his stormtrooper in fear.... dirty hands.... fried chicken.... oh my....

I think we all know what a "slightly yellow" figure truly means, right? Do you want to tell him, cmiller?

If it doesn't smell like cigarette smoke, then it wasn't affected by them - it's easier IMO to fix the color than it is to get rid of the smell. It's probably just a production variance as I don't think there's been enough time to distinctly change the color with sunlight either (if it ever changes at all).

Hi jay! I sold you that stormtrooper. I stand by my trades/sales. I only owned it for a couple weeks and it was displayed in my bookcase in my office free from direct sunlight. I got three young kids including a baby so no smoke allowed anywhere near this house, buddy. I dont know what else to tell ya, my friend.

Yeah, seems sort of silly to even ask about. What would explain being a very slightly different colour aside from the batch? These are painted so shouldn't yellow from UV and I doubt smoke would be entirely consistant from head to toe. Stuff like this has encouraged me to sell as gift whenever possible, even if it means making less. Don't want to have to deal with collectors imagined problems with a figure that I know is mint.
